I was wondering about sending out email ads here. Does this system here automatically fill in the names of people you send to?

This is a pretty responsive site.  I advertise here almost every day, but I do not remember right now whether the person's name is inserted automatically.  I look for content and have not bothered inserting names for several years.  Read some of the ads and maybe you can figure it out, or maybe the admin will answer you.

When you email your ad you will see the details.

 

You will insert:

 

Dear [member-name], This is an example of how to insert there name.

 

Include [member-name] for member's name.
