  1. I highly recommend researching any site you want to join. It may save you from getting scammed. Another suggestion is simply this: Think carefully what they offer. Does it sound too good to be true? Are they promising something for nothing? Are they promising to make you rich for little to no work? Are they demanding an immediate response or "lose it forever?" Are they using high pressure sales tactics or playing to your emotions? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, you may want to take a long look at it or leave it alone. Chances are, it is a scam.
  2. I prefer to use traditional methods to start with and expand me efforts to social media. It seems to me that social media advertising has become more tricky. It does not seem to matter whether it is through paid advertising or posting through groups.
  3. From what I have seen and heard LeasedAdpsace and Fourcorners ( I assume you mean Four Corners Alliance) are both scams. I don't know about the other one as I cannot recall ever hearing about it. I have read a large number of complaints about the two I mentioned and there are a number of scam reporting sites that have flagged them. From what you described, it sounds like someone was using a downline builder script to build their downlines.
  4. That may be the reason it's down.
  5. According to my research, they are a scam. Many sites like this use fake pictures and other info to give some form of legitimacy. They may even pay a few people further the illusion. I recommend avoiding all sites like this unless you are willing to risk (and probably lose) your money.
  6. Seems like I have heard the name. thanks guys. I will keep my eyes open.
  7. It's amazing and sad that people still pull this kind of scam. I was involved in one similar to this years ago. they gave me two options: Send them money or "progress" to the next level; which in this case meant clicking more ads till I got an even larger sum in earnings. When I reached it and tried to cash out nothing happened. When I contacted admin, they gave me a smart reply and said "Wait your turn." I never got paid.
  8. I hate pop ups and usually don't deal with people who use them. I have run into a few that triggered my browser security. I know that ,in the past, popups were responsible for planting viruses and malware. I don't know for sure if the practice is still going on.
  9. I've considered using them, but their reviews keep me away. Like you, there seems to be a number of people who are complaining about not getting paid and suffering from rankings going down. Oddly enough, I do see some sites still promoting them. As an update, I would like to add that I have been using A-ads.com for some time and they work pretty good without the outrageous restrictions posed on its publishers like google ads.
  10. I don't do either one. It seems to me that it costs more than it's worth to attempt to make money this way.
  11. It is back up now.
  12. I think the US government is looking into bitcoins now. I read an article some time ago that said the SEC was looking into them and classifying them as securities (I think). One of the issues I have noted is that they are looking hard at the individual security of each crypto currency. I have also found it ironic that ICO's for bitcoins are not an option for US buyers.
  13. One thing I learned from the last major update was this: Your site needs to be mobile friendly and have some video on it. There was a document that came out that outlined all of the updates and what they meant for website owners. The two I mentioned seemed to be the most critical. I wouldn't spend alot of time or money on this as Google seems to change it. I have also seen many who spent thousands on trying to keep up with the changes. All they wound up with is frustration.
  14. You are right. After doing a little research, I think Google was weeding out those sites that have massive numbers of "useless" backlinks. If I remember the issue correctly, there was a number of services that offered 1000's of backlinks to get higher rankings with Google. I think the update I was referring to penalized for that practice. I would like to mention something that may shed a little light on this subject: You can generate backlinks by doing something like what we are currently doing: posting in forums or in social networks. Unless that has been changed, that is still considered a valid form of getting backlinks. As was mentioned above, Another way to get backlinks and potential viral advertising is to offer a free ebook and encourage your users to share it with others. Of course, this method requires that the info be useful to your readers.
  15. As do I now. But the issue for me there is where do I go for the free traffic? How effective is it? I have tried some free sources that were not worth the effort and time I put into it. That is why I keep asking for new resources of traffic.
  16. Bitminer.io is a scam. Beware of the bitminers as a whole. One thing to remember is that bit mining is a market with diminishing returns. The reason? More and more miners. The competition is so stiff that it is unlikely that anyone can/will profit.
  17. The sad thing is, so very many people fall for these and the Nigerian Scams. I have read some real horror stories about people who got sucked in and lost it all. A few of them even lost their lives by following through and actually going to these countries. On the other hand, if I was paid $100 for every one of these I got in my email, I would be living alot better than I currently am.
  18. I agree with some of the comments above and have a few of my own. Does Paypal allow this kind of transaction? Given how fickle they have been in the past, how long has this been going on?
  19. All of these issues sound vaguely familiar. I seem to remember a thread like this a few months or so ago. I think it was Pennies For Profits, but cannot be exactly sure. I know that I have seen this before in similarly labeled programs. In those cases, it turned out to be scams. The owners were using bots and other devices to create an illusion of traffic. I don't know about this one and won't speculate but, the similarities make me suspicious. That's why I tend to stick to regular mailing lists. I do get better/trackable results with them.
  20. I tried using Payoneer to complete a purchase. The attempt was declined 2x. I learned today that it was because they were located in Great Britain. I wonder if that is the cause of the issues mentioned above.
  21. I think a good example of product to service is Software as a service. I think it is a very lucrative idea.
  22. Yes, you can. But my comment was directed at using their ads services. I worked at sticking to posting to groups and got better results.
  23. I don't know the url for the current one. I sometimes see it on TE's and email lists. You will know it because it say E-MAIL PROCESSORS WANTED.
  24. Can anyone recommend a "google like ads" service that pays in bitcoin? I have looked around and found a number of them. But in my research, I also noted that there have been a number of them that are not paying or listed as a scam. Are there any that are actually paying?
  25. Another kind of scam that's still out there is the email processor scam. I still see it around. Don't waste your time with it. You will wind up with an email box full of spam and will never see a dime. I tried this once a long time ago.
