The greatest lesson I have learned is actually two lessons that go hand in hand. The first lesson is that if it is too good to be true, it usually is. The second lesson seems to go hand in hand with the first; if it requires an immediate answer, the answer is no.

Hi, I realize this question may make me look like an idiot, but I have a question regarding blogging on pinterest. How do I get one started? I did look on pinterest, but did not find any info on this subject. I realize I may not have looked in the right place. My interest in this subject was piqued when I read a pin on how to make blogging on pinterest a profitable way to promote your business. I would appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks.

This situation may take a little to explain: Yesterday, I tried to set up a google adsense account. It was rejected because I already had an approved account under a different email address. So what's the problem? You might ask. I stopped using that email address years ago and all linked email addresses associated with that account. I don't have any passwords or any info related to any of them, and believe me, I looked through my records last night. One possibility was to try to set up a business account, but with google's reputation, would it be worth it? My question(s) is(are) as follows: Should I try to pursue this with google or look elsewhere? What other adsense like companies are there? I tried using the search engines, but the results were a little confusing. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, I need some help with a very important project. I am looking for a free or relatively low cost backlinks submitter/generator script. I have found several but don't know whether or not to trust them. I have also found a few fairly costly ones that are not supported or have poor support. I am looking to expand this idea to add other similar scripts. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am very new to this idea of video creation and marketing. I need to know "how to". Is there anybody out there familiar with this method of marketing? Thanks
-
I have seen them around, though not as much as in the past. I considered joining a time or two, but decided against it after hearing some stories like mentioned above. One thing I have come to learn, if you want to earn online, develop your own product.

Hi, Thans for your replies. Yes, I am a little surprised that I haven't had any better (I.E. number of responses) response than what I have seen. I will have to admit, that I am not familiar with the mechanics of this kind of marketing. I watched a seminar a couple of times and was really frustrated with the fact that the presenter gave lots of great info, but very little on the nuts and bolts of how to do it. I got really excited over some of the ideas he showed and saw the true power of it. But again, no "how to do it" info. Rpsmith

Warning "Two Dollar Click" Warning
rpsmith replied to Garrett Hutsko's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
I am amazed that this scam is still going! I dealt with them some time ago. Never got paid. Their script tried to force me to upgrade my account in order to get paid. I never did. What a rip off! -
PTC Sites that don't pay as promissed
rpsmith replied to Garrett Hutsko's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
Hi,Don't use PTCs and haven't for a long time. Learned this little tip along time ago and thought I would pass it on. When looking at these PTC \s and what they offer (Example $2 per click), ask yourself one question: How many people are going to pay that kind of money just to get you to look at their site? Yeah I tried the site you mentioned. Played by their rules. Got burned as their script tried to get me to upgrade first before payout. Never went back. Their support never replied to me. -
I will confess, I haven't joined OP. The ads seemed to me alot like ULC and other scams that have come and gone. There was just something about it that turned me off, especially after reading about the other two scams I mentioned.

Another idea that comes to mind is to broadcast your blog on Facebook groups. If people like what they read, it can lead to alot of people reposting to other groups. Just a thought.

You make a good point. It is sometimes hard to tell when an operation is a scam or a site with teething trouble. My comment was more along the lines of this: These scammers don't seem to get the idea that the word gets out on them.

Hi, Ran across something called Organic Prospects yesterday. Something about it feels alot like P4P and similar. Maybe it's just me. Anybody out there got any thoughts or info about it?

Sorry to hear about your problem. I have run into a couple of outfits like this in my past. I usually follow the three strike rule. If I get no reply after what I consider to be a reasonable amount of time. I drop them and ignore any attempts they may make to get in touch with me when they offer other products or services. It has been a continual surprise to me that these people don't seem to get the message the first time.

My experiences with free hosting has been mixed. Some have very basic services and then they offer "upgrades" which do cost. Others bury your site in their ads.

The reason people do it is because they want to do things the easy way, even if it means cheating to do it. I have heard of such softwares. As for the malicious viruses, etc o the site itself, that should be a red flag in itself and reason enough to avoid them like the plague. I have heard of this site, but didn't really pay it much attention. I was like the originator of this post and thought it was a safelist. Now I know better. Thanks.

I have long begun to question the importance of SEO. It seems like an impossible task as google seems to keep changing the rules. What works today is negated tomorrow. I have learned that there are other means of getting traffic besides the ever changing google.

Tell us your #1 Fav Traffic Exchange or Mailer & Why
rpsmith replied to KarriDaltonHull's topic in Commons
Hi, One of my favorite traffic exchanges is Lords of Lothar. It offers a D+D like role play with plenty of prize pages and upgrades for your respective character. I have found it to be quite fun to surf/play and addictive. The game is being constantly upgraded and changed/improved to keep it interesting and fun. My favorite safelist is Business World List . I have been with them the longest and have had decent results with their services. As far as I can tell, they offer a straight forward opportunity to promote your website in a variety of ways. Although you need to upgrade to get better results, I have found it to be beneficial in my marketing efforts. -
Who is running these scams you keep mentioning?
-
Yeah, thanks for the warnings.

I have seen adfly before. Mostly in breaking frames. I was not aware of any of the other issues associated with it. Thanks for the heads up guys.
