Are Banners Effective Advertising Method ?
Kevin J Timothy replied to a topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
You'll never know the true effectiveness of your banners unless you are tracking them. I do use banners...everywhere, and I also track them. I see no problem in using standard banners but when I create my own I like to use free software called Canva. -
Do You Prefer To Use Splash Pages Or Capture Pages? - Why?
Kevin J Timothy replied to captkirk's topic in Commons
I prefer to use capture pages simply because I firmly believe in the importance of leads (people to talk to) to a business entity...at ANY level. I expect the prospect to just "walk in" and "take a look around" the first go round. -
Hello, my fellow business owners. I just wanted to share with you all a browser extension/application called MightyText. For those that are not familiar it is an app that allows you to send text messages via your PC browser. If you're creative this can do wonders for your business and advertising. Marinate on that. Give it a look and see what it can do for you.

Yes. I actually like them. Not many things beat leveraging your time and downline builders certainly do that.

How often to post and what about backlinks?
Kevin J Timothy replied to essentialsoflife's topic in Social Media
You really do not want to spread yourself thin. It's tempting, but not wise. I've learned that when it comes to online marketing you want to focus on your best strategy (if not, your favorite). I can tell that you know by know that it's easy to get overwhelmed with all the "expertise" out there. Stick to one form, master it, absorb it, educate yourself in that realm, THEN add another strategy. In fact... Forum marketing could be that "one." For example you can make that your focus. And yes, backlinks in most forums will bode well for you. So will content.... Contrary to pop belief video isn't "the ideal" way to go. If being on a camera, recording, editing, etc. is your thing then it will work well. For those that don't have the resources to create content-driven video there is still hope. This is because textual content STILL WORKS. Folk still like to read...and some prefer it! The trend, however, is making your text content visually appealing; this way they remain engaged. Think memes, images, or infographics. If your blog is sharable it will get shared. The promotion of video marketing is misleading. Yes, it works well but its not the end to all. Now I do understand your concern with having a tight budget. The harsh reality is that at some point you must invest in premium advertising. Make room in your budget for that type of advertising. Its a wicked trade-off...either you spend your time on free advertising or you spend your money on the premium types. Since the time of any man or woman is more valuable than currency, it's best that you at least purchase advertising little by little. Besides, spend the money and you'll notice that you'll create more time to learn (or add on) a new marketing strategy You can make it happen. -
Let's talk about easyhit4u sites
Kevin J Timothy replied to donald555's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
A HUGE membership base, however, I'm quite surprised that its highly regarded and referred to "as the best traffic exchange." The conversions you'll get there are certainly not the best (despite the high ratings). I get better CTR at other TEs. Imagine that. But one thing that cannot be denied is that everyone seems to be at EasyHits4U. I don't believe any other TE comes close in sheer numbers. Others will provide you with much shorter timers, though. -
I've been on since 2009 (online marketing) but I've been involved with network marketing since 2000. I chose not to re-enlist my active duty service with the US Army in January 2000, came back into the civilian world, and I knew that I wanted to start a business. I guess you can say that being in the military (under the Bush Administration) was trauma.

Darren, I cannot deny this point here. One thing that's for certain...I can't find anything to blame on your sites. Your products give results (when used properly).

I keep seeing this everywhere online, particularly in safelists and traffic exchanges... Why would you not focus on list building? Far too many times I will be led directly to a "Sign Up" form in which I'm already choosing a username for the service. What happened to telling the benefits first? I'm not quite sure why this marketing strategy makes sense to some. Imaging subscribing to some channel of media and you don't even know how it will benefit you or your family. Will you be entertained? Will it bore you to death? Is it anxiety? Allow the sales process....and seek to build rapport.

I'm usually watching television while I surf...assuming that I am at home. If I'm out I will surf on my mobile device...assuming I can connect to Wi-Fi. This comes in handy for long waits in lobbies, barber shops, shopping malls, doctor's offices, the dreaded Division of Motor Vehicles, and on mass transit.

What is your favorite place to blog?
Kevin J Timothy replied to Paula Frye's topic in Content Writing and Blogging
I agree emphatically. I had my first on Blogger in '07. Then I was VERY ignorant to internet marketing techniques (and even more so...tools). But eventually I was drawn to Wordpress, which I REALLY like these days. I believe most people will eventually graduate to self-hosted sites and blogs (like the ones on WP). Their tools and plugins are in most cases undeniable. Don't get me wrong, though. Blogger is a very reliable option for those starting out. And there's certainly nothing wrong with sticking it out with Blogger. Many affiliates earn online successfully using a Blogger site. -
Many TEs are fun to use, have great bonus and prize structures, and simply have a great layout. One thing matters to me, though... Conversions...and I believe the starter of this thread inquired about it. With that said I have to say that Traffic Ad Bar gives me acceptable conversion rates. MUCH better than even some of the TEs that boast huge membership bases. Not only do I receive more opt ins (consistently) from TAB, but I also receive more unique hits there. Many other TEs I've used show my ads to a much lower percentage of unique visitors. In Traffic Ad Bar I can rest assured that fresh new eyes will be seeing my ads daily.

Make Money Online With Safelists
Kevin J Timothy replied to MathiewBurkett's topic in Affiliate/MLM/Network Marketing
They're everywhere...just search for them. I can tell you that I've personally gotten the best results from Puffin Mailer, State of The Art Mailer, List Surfing, and (actually) the built in one we have right here at Marketing Checkpoint. Since your results (click through rates, membership base, etc.) will change over time, the ideal safelist tracking tool would be Viral Mail Profits. That tool will let you know if you're wasting time in some safelists. If you want more information about any one of these please feel free to send me a PM. -
Anthony, It's actually a wonderful platform to be if you wish to learn more about business and meet like minds. It's now my favorite forum! Be sure to come back soon (and often) and just chime in.

Marsha, Is it safe to assume that you're anti-Payza?

Oh, my. Should be interesting to see just how much it will affect the Clix Grid game at Clixsense. It's actually not a bad lead generation resource. Just another one of life's hurdles we all need to circumnavigate.

Raged90, Welcome to the best thing online. The community is picking up momentum so jump in and start contributing daily. Its best for all.

Why I dont buy into the safelist and TEs
Kevin J Timothy replied to decksharp1's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
This is precisely why I place my focus on branding myself and list building. When you come with an enthusiastic approach to promoting a particular program, safelist, traffic exchange, etc...you leave yourself open to this type of thing. Companies come and go, however, that list of yours can go with YOU. -
How to Use Crowdfire for Twitter to Get More Followers
Kevin J Timothy replied to Kevin J Timothy's topic in Social Media
Darren, I've used quite a bit of social media (Twitter) third party tools but this one has its stuff together. Yes, it is VERY useful...and I'm just referring to the free membership! I can only imagine the Twitter (or Instagram) growth I will see if I were to upgrade.
