  1. When I was in my teens, I remember walking my neighborhood carrying my little tray of demonstration products with Amway. Sold a lot of product, but sucked at getting anyone to join me in the business. Later Robert
  2. To answer the question for this topic, have you ever tried talking to people? My mentor gave me the strategy his mentor gave him and he has helping hundreds of thousands, (Yes that is right, I have seen his documentation) earn a full time income and his strategy is this: say a little as possible to as many people as you can as fast as you can. Piche their interest and get them in front of an effective presentation. btw... that is NOT YOU, point them to a mentor who has the documented results that you are looking for. Later Robert
  3. Hi there; Even before Amway I was first introduced to Multi Level Marketing through my dad who brought home two bottles of yellow and green tablets along with a protein shake mix that I would take before heading off to school at the age of 12. The company was called Nutri-Bio. My dad was signed up as a distributor, but later I wondered why he quit. I soon figured it out when I would see the same products on the shelf of Safeway grocery stores. Then along came Amway.... Later Robert
  4. Email marketing is one of the best ways to keep in touch with your list, however, you must first have a list to email to. so before you can get into email marketing, you must first learn to market online with a strategy of building that list in the first place. Kinda like, which came first; the chicken or the egg. lol Later Robert
  5. I know a lot of marketers who have spent a lot of money on social media ads and have little to no results. I know a lot of marketers who have gotten a lot of results with no ad spend. It is a matter of knowing the strategy that works. Ultimately, it is a matter of choice which method you want to use. Later Robert
  6. Boosting posts to get exposure is the norm now a days. Facebook needs to generate more money, so they won't show your posts unless you pay for them, not Twitter is following the same path.... It's where all the free services are going... they are doing away with free.... Later Robert
  7. There is too big of a chance that only being in one MLM stands the risk that you will be standing out in the cold. I have been in MLM's that don't exist any more. Multiple sources of income is the answer. If one of your sources goes down, it's a bummer, but not catastrophic. Later Robert
  8. Mike Dillard of Magnet Sponsoring proposed a great question: If you were building a restaurant, where would you build it? On a street where there are no other competitors and lots of traffic, OR on a street where there are several other restaurants that all seem to be doing quite well? You may be getting a lot of traffic to your business, but what you want is people who are hungry for what you are offering. It's not always the amount of traffic, but the quality of the traffic. In a nutshell, You need lot's of traffic from lot's of areas. I noticed that you are not doing a lot of Social Media. Ask yourself, "Were are the people hanging out that you are looking for?" You are looking for people who are looking for you, go where they are and you will find them. Marketing is 80% mindset and 20% skills set. Keep it up and never quit, but keep adding to your portfolio of skills. Later Robert
  9. Been having some really good results with Twitter lately. The object is to know the right strategy to engage with your followers. Later Robert
  10. I see two different writing skills used in article marketing. An article that looks like it was written by a Philadelphia Lawyer and takes one of same stature to read it. Or an easy to read article that reads as if you were standing there speaking to the writer in person. I find the best way to write is to write like you talk. After all, if you were to meet that person at a function, would he/she sound like you expected from their writings? It maybe not a great analogy, but if you are having a hard time writing, just write like you talk. Your articles may be more appealing. Later Robert
  11. Hi there; I am actually involved in 3 MLM's and multiple lead generation tools, resources and services. Later Robert
  12. A lot of people focus on getting the targeted traffic to some offer, web site, or optin form. But traffic has to be the last step in the funnel. Step 1 is Content Strategy, Step 2 is Lead Magnet, Step 3 is Customer Journey, Step 4 is Maximizing Profits, Step 5 is Traffic... For traffic to be effective, be sure to have the other steps in place first... Later Robert
  13. Twitter, Facebook, LinkIn - These are the three social media platforms I use regularly, although I must have over a hundred other sites that are auto posted to through Onlywire and LinkLuv. It's all about exposure... Later Robert
  14. All of the auto-responder email services have optin forms you can use, however, the quality of the forms are different for each. If you only want the free lead capture pages tho, you will have to settle for what is available. Your choice.... Later Robert Dorsey
  15. If we are looking at the difference between marketing a business without spending a dime, and doing paid advertising, then yes, there is a big difference. Since I have been online I have heard it said that FREE is the most expencive way to market onine. That being said, I have probably looked at every FREE marketing resource there is, and I even teach beginers to use the free resources there is, not for dramatic results, but just to get started. Such as using list building sites where you send emails out to other peoples lists, start with free, and then when you get your foot in the door, and you start getting leads coming into your own list, you can always start experimenting with paid advertising when you have the budget for it. But however you start, paid or free, just get started... It's not the big, instant results you are looking for in the beginning, it's is getting exposure in the market place. Your fortune comes later in the follow up anyway. Just get started... Later Robert
