IBO Toolbox is a Dead Horse now and only a few die-hards even bother to visit, let alone post anything useful.

What is your favorite place to blog?
oldbuddy replied to Paula Frye's topic in Content Writing and Blogging
I write short blog articles and post them on the Forum for my favorite money making website. I don't pitch anything, just write about helpful stuff they can use. The Forum does not allow links or money making attempts, but if I play the right cards they come and find me. -
There are tons of tutorials for this on YouTube

I have used eBooks with give-away rights that include an attractive sales page to get people to download them, then put them in a zip archive with a file I created with a title like SpecialBonus and use that to detail my own pitch. Picking a give-away with more drawing power and piggy-backing my message with is simple to do with free tools and use Windows to package them together in an archive (zip) file for free. I have had budget hosting ($1 a month) for many years just to get people set up to do this at https://oldbuddy.angryhosting.com

The key is to build an image first by contributing, then both of these work well. I have used them for over 10 years and still visit almost every day to help others.

That fits the post I made above, where I can use all 10 methods for gaining credits and only spend them on Solo Ads that get sent through email. Of course like most safelists and viral mailers, the members can elect to read them on the website instead.

I prefer focusing all my effort on one exchange that has 10 ways to earn credits, but lets you spend them on any one of the 10 ways to get traffic (or all of them). Even better, they pay cash bonuses to make it worthwhile even if your ads don't convert.

Traffic Exchanges? Useful or Waste of Time?
oldbuddy replied to Kurt Tasche's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
Actually you don't even need to know how to use them, just pick a good one and be consistent and it will come to you in time. Of course it helps to find one that will pay nice bonuses to help you grow, like affiliate link removed- 96 replies

Traffic Exchanges? Useful or Waste of Time?
oldbuddy replied to Kurt Tasche's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
I agree that time is critical, but if you start with a good headline you only need to sell the visitor on reading further and if it keeps on selling they don't need to click anything to continue. Before they know it, they are at the bottom of the page reading about your bonus. I speak not only from the point of having done this myself, but having created pages that did it for others.- 96 replies

It's really simple to pay with CoinPayments logon to your coinpayments website Click on Your Wallet Click BTC Options button Click Send/Withdraw Enter amount and recipients Bitcoin Address Click the Request Withdrawal/Send button As I remember there is a minimum amount you can send. or you would need to use a intermediary wallet

Traffic Exchanges? Useful or Waste of Time?
oldbuddy replied to Kurt Tasche's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
Some people are more open if they think they are getting some kind of a special deal not available to others. This works best when used one-on-one.- 96 replies

I'm sure they don't, but if you find new members for them it means more people can use it to pay you.

The biggest Pro is your balance is in a FDIC account. so they could never get away with freezing your funds for some arbitrary excuse like PayPal has been doing.
-
PayPal froze $596 for six months and terminated my account because they said I exchanged bitcoin for money, which in my opinion was just sending money to a friend. I still can't see how they have avoided a class action suit for the last few years.

"Could Be" is the keyword here. I quit tracking and have more time to market now, which has increased my time and money both.

I have been thinking about this same problem and started looking for a way to have my members sty in touch with me, to eliminate all the time wasting and problems with autoresponders. I hit on an application for team collaboration to share the responsibility of staying in touch with Slack and that led me to search for alternatives at https://fleep.io/blog/best-slack-alternatives/ I don't have anything in place yet, but that is the direction I am going to pursue.

Searching for A Tracking Site
oldbuddy replied to Zanezim's topic in Affiliate/MLM/Network Marketing
If you host your own domain, you can have your own private service with https://yourls.org/ I used this several years with no problems after I installed it automatically with a 1 click install from my cPanel host. The only reason I quit using it, was I wanted to downsize my online activity and did well without tracking. -
What is the Cash Flow Quadrant Doing in Your Life?
oldbuddy replied to Kevin J Timothy's topic in Commons
I read the book when it first was published and even though there was a lot of controversy over it, I thought it was very on target. I went through all four quadrants during my lifetime, starting as an employee in the aircraft factories of Los Angeles, then a self employed computer consultant in Oregon which led to running my own software business, with those three meeting with some success. It's the final quadrant of an investor where I bombed out. I was significantly invested in Intel when it went from the low $60's to half that overnight and I decided to pull the plug on that method of financial risk. Now I am retired and enjoying life, without worrying about getting rich anymore. -
Using a capture page and actually getting a name and email is NOT a given. If that is your objective, then it's the easy choice, but if your final objective is making money or building resources, then a splash page often works better.

Don't overlook the fact that if they are active, you can communicate with them by posting a page in the exchange that they will see. It also serves the purpose of promoting yourself and letting other members know how well you support your associates, so they may notice other pages you post with a favorable attitude.

I agree with you, I don't like being treated like one of Pavlov's dogs.
