Free lead capture pages ?
davepilgrim replied to Jasond188's topic in Affiliate/MLM/Network Marketing
Beware of Weebly... See my post in the 'Sound Off' section of this forum entitled 'Furious with Weebly' -
I've used Weebly for years and have always been pleased with the results. But right now I'm FURIOUS with them. I'd been sitting on a site I built there for months, a simple but very striking banner advertising site which I was very pleased with. I'd not seen anything like it before. One or two of you might even have seen it here during the very short time it was up... In essence, it showcased a single banner, on a rotator, and you could buy lifetime placement in the rotator for only $10 Purchase was via a simple, straightforward PayPal button, but obviously it would make it a lot easier to generate lots of banner views for customers if I had affiliates promoting the site. I planned to use Payspree, but make no mention of an affiliate scheme on the site itself. All sales would be simply for banner advertising only, but the site would be listed in the Payspree directory from where it could be promoted for 50% instant commissions. The only question was whether this was allowed under Weebly's T&Cs. I asked them to clarify this via support, making it clear that the site was not set up yet as an affiliate site, just a straight payment service as I didn't want to breach their policy and risk my account. Here's their reply... "We do not allow MLM / Make Money style sites on our network. Because of this, your sites were shut down and the accounts disabled. Sorry this happened out of the blue. > > Thank you! > Jeff G" That's right - they've shut down ALL my existing Weebly sites and closed my account BECAUSE OF SOMETHING I WAS CONSIDERING!!! Because of an idea I was floating by them for clarification!!! Words fail me. I'm off now to do some deep breathing and await further comment from Weebly...

I agree - as long as there's people trying to promote anything online they'll be looking for ways to generate more traffic. Offering advertising, either on your own sites or as an affiliate, is a perennial way to make money. It's a cliche, but the people who consistently made money in the gold rush were the shovel salesmen. Sure, some people got lucky, some people got to the right place at the right time and struck it rich, but most prospectors didn't. However, EVERYONE needed tools and the smart entrepreneurs simply supplied that demand.

I just discovered this very promising traffic exchange Professional Hits which gives you 1,000 hits, 1,000 banners and 1,000 text ads when you join for free! You also get a free 24 hour upgrade which gives you even more credits, banner impressions, etc. And the best bit... You can add your own programs to the downline builder. Professional Hits

Apparently PayPal has been doing this lately... Members of Merry and Brian's new site Downline Maker will have received an email yesterday re -offering their OTO because people were missing it due to PayPal timing out exactly as you describe... Hope this is just a temporary glitch.

Forgot to mention in that first post... For every 25 sites you surf, your affiliate link is entered into a 'slot' in the main rotator promoted by the owners. So if you surf 100 sites, you will get 4 slots in the rotator for that day, meaning you can get automatic referrals in Quality Pro 4U without actually promoting it.

Wow! 2000 hits a day for $2 or less! That's great value! -
Hmmm... I don't really understand the point of autosurfs...

The referral mailer is a great feature that not many TEs have... In fact, the only other TE I know of that has a real referral mailer, as opposed to just private messaging, is Website Traffic Hog and in that instance it's power is diluted IMO because the entire site functions as a credit mailer as well as a TE and most people will have a list email address separate from their contact address, so referral mailings will be lost among the masses. Don't know why more TEs don't include downline mailers, but it's definitely something to bear in mind...
-
I joined - it looks promising although a bit rough around the edges still. Have you got your eye on another TE at Ventrino?
-
Both... Obviously I'd expect credit-based views to produce higher CTR...
-
I like the sound of that figure a lot more
-
Wow! That seems incredibly low! I was just checking my stats at Instant Ads 4 Me and my banners there are getting roughly a 1% CTR
-
What would you consider a good CTR for banner ads?
-
I didn't know what it was until I read this post, so I went off and researched it... Now I've joined and submitted a few websites. Obviously it's too early for me to report on results yet. My only gripe so far has been some of my sites being rejected as supposedly 0% mobile-friendly when I know for a fact they're totally mobile-friendly as I'm looking at them on my mobile! Hopefully this is just a bug which will be ironed out in due course. Apparently there's going to be a Zabang Mail as well, with affiliate links embedded automatically at the bottom of all outgoing messages, which sounds quite interesting.

Just promote the splash page in your favourite traffic exchanges and get automatic referrals in 19 programs simultaneously.

I have nothing against one-time offers or countdown timers per se, but something which is deliberately misleading like that? Not for me. The question is, do we WANT to live and work in a wild-west-style community of dog-eat-dog and every man for himself attitudes, or do we want to weed out that kind of bull and foster honesty, integrity and trustworthiness instead?

Free lead capture pages ?
davepilgrim replied to Jasond188's topic in Affiliate/MLM/Network Marketing
I agree... AdKreator is a good choice, but I don't think the free version lets you make squeeze pages, only splash pages. I believe you must be upgraded to create squeeze pages. Viral Lead Builder is a ready-made squeeze page you can just add your autoresponder code to. -

There aren't many details being given yet about things like minimum payout, etc. Supposedly as it's still in prelaunch. I know several people (myself included) who have joined because it's free, just on the off-chance that it might be legit, but I'm not promoting it until I see how it pans out... The general consensus is that it seems Too Good To Be True.- 47 replies

BANNER ADS THAT PAY Join for free, ad your banner and get more free credits added every month even if you never promote the program! Or upgrade for 20 times more credits, 5 banners instead of 1 and 50% commissions... BANNER ADS THAT PAY
-
There's at least one squeeze page around at the moment which opens with 'Only 17 Places Left' and then counts down every few seconds that you don't enter your details... 'Only 16 Places Left'... 'Only 15 Places Left' etc. The hilarious thing is, refresh the page and whaddya know... There's miraculously 17 places left again lol! Why would anyone sign up under someone who's clearly lying to them from the outset about the opportunity? It doesn't bode well for a good experience down the line...
-
Hmm... Not 100% sure that's it. The 5 square banners down one side seems pretty standard (I've seen sites with a lot more) and doesn't strike me as overkill. What might be putting people off are those really tacky banners someone's added (you know which ones I mean) or maybe the site just isn't being promoted/used much anymore. I'm more than happy to refund you if you're not getting results, though.

If you want to make INSTANT 100% commissions while generating easy traffic to your sites, this is the traffic exchange for you. http://qualitypro4u.com/?rid=2470 It costs just $5 one-time to join and has a five second surf timer and 2:1 surf ratio. But the best part is all your referrals pay their entire $5 direct to YOUR PayPal account. http://qualitypro4u.com/?rid=2470
