GetResponse is the main autoresponder I use so I may be able to help. Rather than post a long, detailed and probably confusing reply, I can try to give you a few step-by-step pointers. The first thing you'll want to do is create a list... click on the option top-centre of the page, then hit the blue button 'Create List'. Once you've got a list which you can add your subscribers to, expand the menu (top-left) and select 'Autoresponders' then create your first autoresponder - to go out 'Day 0' (i.e. as soon as someone signs up) You can then build your capture form or, the easiest option, a landing page using one of the many pre-built templates. Hopefully, that's enough to get you started and on the right track - any questions, feel free to ask

Still down - I get the feeling we might've lost this one. It's a shame because it was such a great value traffic source - just hope Nicole's OK - it's a bit worrying when someone just disappears like that

What are your favorite mailers and why?
davepilgrim replied to Greg Miller's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I use Herculist every day without fail and I love it! It's a large, well-established mailer with almost 90,000 members. The Gold Membership is only about $25 for a full year and that allows you to mail the entire membership every single day! My upgrade paid for itself several times over within a few short days. Admin are great - commission withdrawals are processed within 24 hours (often a lot less) and there's loads of different advertising options, including a built-in traffic exchange. Thoroughly recommend it. -
That's not strictly true... Yes, you do have to upgrade if you want to use the built-in autoresponder, but you also have the option to export your leads to any autoresponder of your choice. If you use MailChimp, it's free until you hit 1,000 subscribers... Personally, I'm not a big fan of MailChimp (I think GetResponse is much, much better) but at least it will let you send out regular mailings to your list.
-
I agree - GetResponse is cheaper and much more professional and has excellent training courses and resources
-
Yes, I'm a member of listsurfing also - as an upgraded member I can mail the whole membership every day... and of course, the admin is extremely trustworthy and conscientious

There was a period when I spent quite a lot of time playing Roulette - I sometimes made hundreds of £££s a day and really enjoyed it. So I was thrilled when I came across this simple online roulette program - you can start with really low stakes so if you want to play for fun, try it out or just start safe before gradually building up, this is ideal.

I just joined via your link - will have a look around over the next couple of days

What's Your Favourite Traffic Exchange?

Thanks - I didn't realise that. It sounds like a pretty good deal. -
vTrafficRush Is Unresponsive!
davepilgrim replied to aprild.marketing's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
I was surprised to hear that the site is so unresponsive, especially since it is one of the main 3 on Surf2Cash Formula - really disappointing -
Gotta say, that sounds like a phenomenal amount of traffic for $3 - why so cheap?

Like most people on this forum, I used to surf many different traffic exchanges - I always felt that the more I could surf, the more my ad would be seen, so I'd try and jump around as much as possible to build up credits in multiple exchanges. As time went on I learned which ones gave the best results, the most traffic in the shortest time possible, and the highest response rates. But then a few weeks/months ago, after reading a post on this very forum, I started concentrating more on Easy Hits 4U again... Now, this is a traffic exchange I've used for many years and it's always been reliable, but after spending more time on it recently and giving it more careful attention I realised that I'd been massively under-using it. There aren't that many traffic exchanges which actually deliver hundreds of hits to your site in a matter of hours, but this one does. Not only that, but because they have over 1.5 MILLION members, of which there are frequently around a thousand surfing at any one time, I'm seeing that a HUGE proportion of my traffic there is comprised of unique visits. Most traffic exchanges, you end up with your ad being viewed over and over again by the same people. Yes, there's merit in repetition to a degree but after a while everyone just gets bored with seeing the same pages over and over. With an audience of more than 1.5 million potential leads/buyers/referrals you're not going to saturate your audience any time soon! So, since time is limited and I only have so many hours a day to surf TE's, I've changed my strategy and I now surf Easy Hits 4U almost exclusively (apologies to the other TE owners on here). Is anyone else focusing this narrowly on one particular TE or mailer?

My strategy to get more leads/sales
davepilgrim replied to Juanito's topic in Techniques & Strategies
I watched this free webinar the other day which I found really inspiring... the simplicity of this guy's lead-generating method is one of those formulae that makes you think "Of course! Why isn't everyone doing this?" Makes TOTAL sense. I won't go into it here as he does a much better job at explaining it than I could - check out the webinar replay at http://bit.ly/1kEachDay (Yes, he's trying to sell something at the end of it - of course - but don't worry about that, just get the free info) -
That's the sad thing - Clickbank is worth MILLIONS and they have some superbly well-created products but they also have some absolute rubbish. You would think they would have some form of quality-control or anti-scam policies in place
-
I see he's still launching new sites
-
Well, that's just it... nobody, apparently as they don't seem to have any advertising on there!

I just came across this new scam site today - Tap2Earn If you haven't seen it yet while surfing or using social media, I'm sure you'll come across it soon. It's one of those sites that seems too good to be true - and we all know what that generally means... ;-) They offer to pay you $10 for everyone that signs up via your link and $2 for every click lol I signed up anyway just to have a look around and it seems they exist solely to harvest your data - you are required to complete certain tasks which generally involve giving them your name, address, phone number, date of birth, etc. They also offer to pay their members $50 for making a YouTube video about them, which is why you'll find so many YouTube videos endorsing them. However, look a little deeper... Here's a more genuine video: https://youtu.be/tlJi01HhKWM

Is anyone else getting fed up lately with Twitter's hyper-vigilant bots, which seem incapable of differentiating between automated and spamming accounts and genuine accounts? Three times in the past couple of months I've had my account limited/suspended, apparently because Twitter's bots detected 'unusual activity' indicative of automated accounts. Although I have used some automation in the past, things like Crowdfire to schedule posts in advance, etc. (which, incidentally, is accepted by Twitter) for some time now I have only posted manually, genuine posts - nothing spammy - nothing repetitive - nothing, as far as I can figure, remotely resembling automation in any way. Yet my account keeps getting blocked and every time it happens I lose followers. Which is only to be expected, since all they see when they visit my profile is a big warning about 'unusual activity' on the account. It's getting tedious. The irony is that when I've tried to communicate with Twitter staff to unlock the account, I get repeated automated bot-replies giving generic advice. For example, the first time it happened, I had an old mobile number associated with the account that I no longer had access to. Every time I would email Support to explain this I'd get an automated reply advising me to follow the link and enter my mobile number! Seriously, the A.I. which seems to be increasingly running the show at Twitter seems to be incredibly stupid. Anyone else had these problems?
-
Thanks Joy. That's really disappointing to hear, and must have been so frustrating for you. Still, it's good to get the feedback so at least others on this forum can avoid those scams. Would you be willing to share which are the best sources your testing has found?
-
There's not... sorry.

What's Your Favourite Traffic Exchange?
davepilgrim replied to davepilgrim's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
As promised, I tried Clickvoyager since there's a couple of members recommending it but I'm put off by the low traffic ratio. As a free member. viewing someone else's website earns 2 credits but it costs 10 credits for each view of your own website - that's only a 5:1 ratio, possibly the lowest I've come across on any traffic exchange! I can see that upgrading will give far better results, though
