I just joined this forum, and I was very interested to find this thread.
I have been on a mailing list of this man for several years. About 3 years ago he sent out an email saying he would pay back double in x number of months to anyone who would help fund his Facebook ads. I sent him money through PayPal for this deal. After the time expired (I think it was 6 months.) I heard nothing, so I sent emails to 2 or 3 different email addresses I had for him. No answer. I submitted a claim to PayPal. I got the original amount back, but unfortunately, he got a free loan for that length of time, because of course he would not stand by his word.
I thought online fraud was a serious matter, especially when it crosses international borders.
