  1. Welcome back to the online I would take note of the Safelist and TE sites that are getting the most frequent and current exposure, because those are usually the ones getting the most fresh traffic in, and so most likely to get results.
  2. I've heard many bad reports from people, either they haven't been paid commissions, or their accounts weren't upgraded after paying, and no support to help, and this goes back a couple of years already. I guess you could try leave a message at his skype. I just checked and he shows to have been active there in the last days. pageswirl
  3. Maybe he's completely lost touch with reality. Bumbling on, fiddling with his sites, throwing up new ones, taking people's money, making youtube vids, emailing his list almost daily, but not taking responsibility for his obligations in return. What doesn't make sense to me in this situation, is that he surely could be making a lot more money if he actually did right by people
  4. I'm not a member of this particular site, but I've always had positive outcomes from support requests at other sites from the same admin. I hope you'll get assistance soon.
  5. Tommie, as yet, not a single one has requested that we add ORU I'm not going to write again on this topic.
  6. Well, admittedly, I'm not a veteran owner, our oldest site is 2 years online. But we do have a lot of veteran marketers, and as yet, not a single one has requested that we add ORU.
  7. FAFY's a really good site, and if your existing referrals have been using it and can see in their results that it's working for them, I'd say that it would be worth offering an incentive to them to upgrade because they might already be considering it. Not sure how much though to be honest, or if there is a limitation there on the amount.
  8. Well, as mentioned, I promote our sites now, I barely promote others, i have enough work to do on ours. In the past, it was just small extra bonuses to join, where it was allowed, and then in a moderate amount of 1000 credits or something. I'm not sure if giving extra credits to others will encourage them to upgrade, somehow I doubt it, but you could try.
  9. Sorry, not to upgrade Tommie, to join :-)
  10. Oh, okay :-) Then to answer your question better, in the past, before owning sites, I used to promote sites owned by other people, and yes, I've offered to transfer extra credits if it's possible to do that for the site, and yes I believe it helped.
  11. Well, I prefer to call them incentives The word bribe has a negative feel to me. But sure, I promote our sites with a join bonus of credits and we encourage our members to promote that same incentive, so that the person joining will feel comfortable in knowing that when they join, they can give our sites a test for free and with no effort.
  12. I haven't so far. I've actually used it more to make payments to sites that accept it and to our members for commissions, than I've had incoming. so we've funded it from my partner's Uphold and from bitcoin. I'm in SA, so most likely if I do want to withdraw, it will be bitcoin. Sorry, just to add, I assume you are asking how I personally get my money, and not how people generally withdraw? :-)
  13. Not really, I'm noticing a lot of sites adding Uphold though. 0 Links
  14. Hi Tommie I'm not saying that owners who've added it are not to be trusted. Only explaining the reason why we have not and will not. Thanks.
  15. Not that I've noticed. He called it the launch of the 2.0 version of the Your Viral Network, starting with one site and spreading to the others. I haven't been following updates or changes in those sites though, pretty much lost interest.
  16. Yes, for me it's balancing both the maintenance and growth of what I have, and helping others to benefit from my accumulated knowledge and experience, and effort towards learning and applying new skills. I put a lot of effort into my work online, and I'm proud of what I've accomplished and even what I will still accomplish.
  17. Thanks Ed :-) Maryanne :-D
  18. Exactly. For people still unsure how to handle bitcoin, but have to give an address to receive money, this is an easy solution. Last week I received a deposit to my Uphold BTC address, and switched it to USD with a couple of clicks.
  19. Hi Gordon You can add it as a "favourite card". Just click on the +Add card/currency. Transfer between members is free for any currency. Far as I understand though, if you are depositing or withdrawing in the UK, it has to be in Euro.
  20. Omg lol, I've just opened your screenshot to see this message and laughed so hard I sprayed coffee on my keyboard
  21. Speaking only in terms of advertising sites, and speaking generally, it seems the site owners that for the most part, are the owners that I most respect and trust are avoiding adding ORU, probably for the same reasons that we are. We're not in the slightest bit interested in using ORU to accept or pay members in our sites. We're not interested in making money off our members by recruiting them into a 10 level compensation program. We're interested in providing a quality advertising service. And we don't want the image of that either. If members already belong to ORU, there's a good chance they already use, or easily can use one of our other payment methods. As a marketer, I wouldn't use it either, or promote it, I don't think it's going anywhere in the long term, but others seem to, and that's okay.
  22. Bravo Gordon Uphold is really a pleasure to use, don't let the authentication thingy put you off. We're finding an increasing amount of people are requesting payment of commissions in our sites through them and more and more advertising sites are adopting the method. No fees to transfer USD from member to member, no monthly fee, its win-win for owners and affiliates.
  23. Respected in the industry, yes it does appear so, though he doesn't fit into my circle of what I ever followed or promoted. Scott Douglas came under fire for not paying members timely, at a point in the past, though it seems he redeemed himself the last time. Hard to know what he'll do now I guess, I don't know the guy, but not answering support tickets, is a very bad sign irrespective of any past corrections. You can see a thread from this same forum in 2014, I've linked to it. https://www.marketingcheckpoint.com/topic/596-scott-douglas-is-missing-from-te-profits/
