I have Office which includes One Drive. So, my backup needs are covered. Otherwise, I would probably use 1Drive based on price.

Since signing up to review the product and bizop on 21 July, I have received 17 emails, of which one was related to the product and the rest about making money. I still have not found any info regarding the first Got/backup launched years ago.

Joel Therian should have created a new name and domain instead of recycling gotbackup.com from years ago I was a member of the first Got Backup about 8 years ago, which disappeared suddenly, as I recall. From what I have seen currently, the Got Backup promotions focus on the bizop and not the product. I am definitely passing on this.

I deleted my Traffic Swirl account today. It was a good run November 8, 2010 - May 24, 2023. TS is well past its prime and on its last legs. I don't know why john Bell has let it slide or whether he will revive it. Sad.

Hot Website Traffic
Glen Palo replied to Phyllis Wolfe's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I logged into Hot Website Traffic a few minutes ago and sent an email ad without any problems. I suggest submitting a new support request. If that does not work, Marty's email address is on the bottom of the members' home page. -
OnPassive and GoFounders thoughts
Glen Palo replied to firebyfifty's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
Based on my experiences with new internet marketing or bizop program launches, I run the other way when I see pre-launch or soft launch opportunities. Such terms tell me the product, service, or company is not ready for prime time. Given the pace of technology development these days, I wonder if Onpassive's products will be obsolete by the time they launch the company (if they ever do). -
OnPassive and GoFounders thoughts
Glen Palo replied to firebyfifty's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
The third anniversary of the pre-launch is rapidly approaching. If OnPassive has as many founders as they say they do, do they have a robust financial system in place to account for the monthly payments due from members to cover the matrix payments and the subsequent commission payments? Have they collected the personal financial info the U.S. IRS requires? Can they deliver? -
I was a member (2016-2019). Wealthy Affiliate is an excellent training program for beginners. It is also good for experienced people who want to learn how to develop content for their blogs and websites. Members learn about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to help their content rank on search engines. Free members do not have access to all of the training available, nor access to the live webinars. I don't know if that has changed since I left. I have been building websites since the last century. My first site was on GeoCities, then I used HostGator around 2005. I joined WA to find out what I didn't know or had not learned on my own. Wealthy Affiliate also provides website hosting and domain name registration services. WA Many of the top-ranked WA members do not use WA for their website hosting. I use other website hosting companies for my sites because WA (at the time I left) uses only a ticket support system. There is/was no live technical support chat or telephone tech support service One of my WA-provided websites was hacked. Swapping emails with WA tech support was frustrating, to say the least. They did little to help me restore the site because they do not retain backup data for more than 1 day. They promote daily backup on their website, which does not help if you don't see the hack within the first day of it happening. (My current website hosting company retains backup data for 30 days.) I ended dumping my site and starting over on another hosting company. The Wealthy Affiliate services (hosting and training) are bunded together into one price. So it is difficult to evaluate their hosting services with competitors. WA compares their $49 a month cost with Kinsta, Pagely, and WP Engine (WordPress premium hosting companies). WA considers itself as a premium WordPress managed hosting company. They are not based on the lack of live technical support services (no chat or telephone support) and the fact that my WA-hosted site was hacked. Compare WA hosting with Siteground, Bluehost, Dreamhost, etc. My hosting priorities are site security, tech support, and cost, in that order. If you are looking for website hosting, determine your requirements first, including security, cost, tech support, speed, etc. Hope this helps.

I am testing out LeadLeap's Sendsteed autoresponder system now. So far so good. To set up a series of emails requires a Pro upgrade. Free members can set up their list and send broadcasts.

Is there a launch date for OnPassive? It has been "launching soon" since July 2018.

I use Ubersuggest and SEMrush as well as Keywords Everywhere. I no longer use Jaaxy (I had the Enterprise edition) because of the limited number of keywords returned. I don't know if WA has increased the number of results returned or not.

For those of us who blog or have content-rich websites should know or experience the difficulty of getting traffic from search engines. A traffic study by ahrefblog in March 2020 stated that 90.63% of content gets no traffic from Google. To be successful, it helps to "Know your numbers." How many click throughs (CTR) does it take to make one sale? How many website impressions does it take to get a click to a page? A Search Engine Journal post stated that over 50% of local business websites receive less than 500 visits per month. Bottom line: If you are going to focus on organic traffic, your content (articles, blog posts) needs to match search intent as well as indexed by the search engines. (typical SEO stuff). Example: My Prosperity Marketing System review article is #5 on the 1st page of Google for the search term prosperity marketing system review. This search term gets about 5 visitors a month from Google search traffic.

What factors determine whether or not you upgrade your membership level in a safelist? For example, does the size of the membership base make a difference? I am reluctant to upgrade in any safelist where the owner/admin does not state the number of members, preferrably active members.

I have been using LeadsLeap new page maker.

Ads Messenger is definitely a winner as it approaches its third anniversary! Upgrading my membership has been worth it!

My initial response is, why another downline builder? I have been there and done that as have so many of us marketer types. So... what makes yours different? It is not clear what's in it for me.

I have socialized with several multi-million dollar earners. The common thread in their success is the ability to recruit, organize, train, motivate, and support an effective sales team.

OnPassive and GoFounders thoughts
Glen Palo replied to firebyfifty's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
1st quarter has come and gone. The question now is whether Onpassive will launch before its third prelaunch anniversary in July. -
Thanks for sharing. From my experience, I think it's better to use a solo ad marketplace like Udimi. Or better yet, spend the money on an upgrade at a good safelist.

OnPassive and GoFounders thoughts
Glen Palo replied to firebyfifty's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
The launch date continues to slide to the right. So now they are saying the 1st quarter of 2020. That would be great as then we can see if it is for real. I have watched a number of promotional videos and understand the compensation plan is an MLM matrix. Members must have a recurring subscription starting at $25 a month to earn commissions. Each matrix increases in price ($25, $125, $250. $500). So the monthly cost is $900 for the 4 matrices. The founder fee is not commissionable. It's been a few months since I watched the promotions. So I don't know if this info has changed. I guess we will see next quarter. -

Most Responsive Safelist?
Glen Palo replied to JonnyTGood's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
With the rise of social media networks, eCommerce, and online shopping, product information is readily available, unlike the "old days" when companies and salespeople controlled product information. Information availability has made the "Rule of 7" obsolete. -
OnPassive and GoFounders thoughts
Glen Palo replied to firebyfifty's topic in Scams, Rip-offs, and More
I wrote a review of Onpassive, which I recommend avoiding until it launches to see what it really is. https://homebusinessforveterans.com/onpassive-review-reveals-risky-mlm-opportunity -
Thanks, I appreciate the help.
