  1. That is a lot of websites! It makes you wonder how he keeps them all going if no one is getting paid. You would think people would run him off the Internet. I'm sure there are many not getting paid at all.
  2. That is so wrong of him. The support system problem and emails going unanswered sure did make me wonder. I quit selling his products as soon as I quit getting paid. I wondered why the payout process asks for your bank account routing number. That is scary so I wasn't about to give that to him. You always pay, Maryanne! I haven't been advertising as much lately but need to get back into it. I sure appreciate those who pay!
  3. He has owned me money for years. At first I thought my notes were just bouncing, but now I see that's probably not the case. It especially angers me because I had paid him a couple thousand for one of his partner spots a couple of years ago. I was all excited when I saw the results ... until I realized I wasn't going to be paid. I'm glad to see you all posting about this here, because I really thought it was just me. I've no idea how he can do that to people. Now I'm wondering if he pays anyone. Paula
  4. Hi Evelyn. Thank you so much for putting your link to your traffic exchange. It sounds great! I'm signing up right now! I see you all over the exchanges. I didn't even realize you had one! Paula
  5. That sure is true! Success comes from the inside out. Every single one of us needs to focus on learning how to advertise and work any business we are in. It takes time and dedication for sure!
  6. Hi Jim, My #1 favorite for tracking clicks and conversions is Jon Olson - Tim Tech's Trck Me (my link is at the bottom). The reason I love this service so much is that it works extremely well and is easy to use. It shows me exactly where my clicks are coming from and even which sites are getting me the best conversion rates. I have found it to be something I simply cannot live without :-) It tracks banners, too -- both impressions and clicks. While you are using this to track, you also have the option of showing your photo and social site links at the top of your page. I do that a lot, because it gets me extra signups for the tracking service without even trying. I have been very impressed with this service. It helps me to know which sites I should focus the most on when I advertise. They have a free trial so you can test it for yourself. You may like it as much as I do. Paula
  7. Jim, I'm not sure about deliverability, either. I do know that it can depend on the email email address you are sending from. If your email address is listed as an online marketer your deliverability could be less. I have a separate email address that I use for most of my autoresponder messages.
  8. Hi Matt. I think Aweber and GetResponse are comparable, too. They both build the list, which is the most important thing any of them do. I'm not sure on the cost. They are probably about the same. My list sizes in each one are different, so I'll have to look into that.
  9. Hi Kenny. You are in some good companies for sure! When I first started building my list I used Get Response. A few years later I ended up using Aweber, too, because a business I was in had forms where we could pull our tour takers into Aweber. I'm still using both Get Response and Aweber, but I do like Aweber better. Their forms are great like you said. I have trouble understanding how to set things like that up, and Aweber makes it very easy for me. I am waiting for them to add splash pages :-) I am in Pure Leverage, too, but I haven't done any autoresponder setup there yet. I've been with GVO for years (mainly for web hosting) but I just haven't done much with the autoresponder part of it. Traffic Wave is another good one for making money and list building. I forgot about that one. I joined it because of a couple of downline builders. I do use it some and like it. I'm amazed by how many good autoresponders there are these days! There's really no excuse not to at least try to build a list anymore.
  10. Hi, Aweber and Get Response seem to be the two most-used autoresponders. Do you think one of those is better than the other? Or do you have a different autoresponder that you like best? And why? Paula
  11. I definitely think traffic exchanges will be around for a long time. As far as mobile goes, I have been surfing on a Kindle Fire HD. Even sites that aren't thought to be "mobile" are mobile on that. The screen in about 9-10 inches. I do sign up for things using it. In fact, I enjoy surfing much more with it than on my laptop computer. I sit outside in the yard and surf sometimes. I really like it that way.
  12. I think the profile is extremely important on the traffic exchanges. That makes me think of Traffic Swirl because my sites are always shown on my profile there. That was actually why I decided to upgrade in that one (plus the super fast timer). I wish ThumbVu would show our sites on the profile. If they did, that would be another of my very favorites.
  13. Wow, Kenny! 8-10 at a time! I have tried surfing 4-5 at a time and got so stressed out I couldn't do it. lol It sounds like you have a plan and do it well. That's great!
  14. lol. I sure do year you! I grabbed a couple of your lifetime memberships awhile back.
  15. Hi, When I first heard the term blogs ... blogging ... etc. I thought it was a silly name and didn't really pay much attention to it. Then I noticed a lot of people were doing it. If they were all using blogs, there had to be something to it -- or at least you would think so. Now I totally see why blogging is so important. Not only can blogs be used to tell people about services and products you use, blogging can also be used to build your name recognition. I am probably not blogging the right way (if there is even a "right" way), but I'm trying to make sure the things that I sell are in the search engines. For instance, I'm in one of the diet product MLMs (Skinny Body Care). I created a blog specifically for that business. I also did that with MCA. By having blog posts in the search engines, someone is likely to end up on one of them and buy or join something I'm writing about. I am not much of a writer, so my blog posts are mainly ads with more information tucked into them. It may not be perfect, but it's helping me to get sales. I guess that's important when you work online for a living. How are you using blogs? If you aren't using blogs yet, why aren't you? Paula
