Use of First Name when advertising
Greg Wessels replied to market101's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
And that is why TE/Mailers are considered low-quality traffic. Totally untargeted with the advantage of members showing each other either generic splash pages or company sales pages; neither convert well at all. I personally like seeing my name in a message even if I do know it's script generated. This is the first step to making the conversation personal and with that come the conversions. And while I also go straight for the credit link, if the site interests me then I will go back to read the email. -
Yes Deborah, coins are gone (as anticipated) or at least the silver not at the usual place. And once again, I surfed with just 1 other person; I also made #3 again yesterday with <200 views. So who is seeing member's ads when someone can surf so little and yet rank so high? I believe it is just a matter of time until James just gives this site up or deletes it. Also, without Zubee Zone forum, where is James going to vent about his site? I wish him the best of luck in his online endeavors but he really damaged his credibility with Stellar Hits. Merry Christmas Everyone!
-
Bots?! Obviously James' security is to tight to penetrate. Today, I surfed alone. But I have 3 shiny zubees to show for it...gotta get them while the gettin's good.
-
Low surfer turnout may explain why Stellar Hits keeps getting swapped out during surf party days but I would think at least some members would bite the bullet for the percentage. My experience is that I have surfed Stellar a few times now and have never seen more than 3 surfers online. As it turned out, I placed #3 yesterday with only 287 clicks! It appears James' toxic attitude killed Stellar Hits before it had a chance to bloom.

"we can start implementing new changes for all of my businesses in the new year." This situation is beyond ridiculous. First not one word from JB of how he is going to fix the payment processor mess with Zubee Zone and now changes expected to all his sites, apparently. Thanks for the link Clare as I tend to stay away from the major time suck that is the Main Forum. I must disagree with some posts though. If you have time to view/post on FB then you can answer a few support tickets.

So is Ryan still pushing the rev shares? Not exactly a solid business model. I used to attend Ryan's weekly training and all the training was answering questions on which revshare to join and how much to spend. And of course he would have a special deal if you join him. I don't think I even looked at Ryan U because he had two previous memberships (as I recall) that didn't last very long; always changing things up. How long will this one last? Enbe, you should put your pic or brand on your Ryan U Facebook Page. It's your page plus it implies you are partners with Ryan. Best of luck to you!

No disagreement here. Free ads can work but how many credits do you have to blow to get any response. The difference is free ads are extremely untargeted while paid ads are much more targeted. Additionally, there are varying levels of 'paid' ads. Some think that since they paid for unlimited banner/text impressions that this constitutes a paid ad. What you are paying for is the compensation plan not the targeted membership that will view/respond to the ad, so this belongs in the 'free' untargeted category. Compare that to a FB ad - much more targeted and will yield a much better response.

If multiple pc's are having this problem then it could very well be a router problem. One question, did you use the same browser on all your pc's and is that browser synched? That may answer why all the devices redirected. I would try using multiple browsers, and if all the devices redirect using different browsers then I would look at a router malware problem. A router malware Google search will help; this article seems to be a good start.

Hi Marsha, this doesn't sound like a browser issue where deleting cookies/history will necessarily help. You might try loading your computer into Safe Mode to see if the problem is replicated when minimum files are loaded. This article from PC World covers doing just that and how to remove found malware. Also try downloading a free malware scanner such as Kaspersky. Kaspersky Lab is very reliable. You want to try a different malware scanner in case the malware has compromised your existing programs. Good luck finding and removing this culprit.

Popups in traffic exchanges?
Greg Wessels replied to Darren Olander's topic in PTC & Traffic Exchanges
Popups do serve a purpose when used correctly but have no place in a traffic exchange. I surf to earn credits so I may show my site(s) and will only stop if something catches my attention (or frame breakers, whose frequency seems to be increasing of late). If I didn't stop, I wasn't interested, and throwing up a popup only wastes both of our time because the likelihood of that popup's success is extremely low. -
Agreed. The longer he waits the worse it will get. Supposedly JB will have an answer in January but there is no update to the members so we don't really know if he is working on the payment processor issue or not. Concerning the power pack subscriptions, JB already stated they were a mistake so I don't think he minds if members cancel them. I'm holding onto mine for now.

Not sure how much traffic you will receive when your banner is lost among 90+ other on-site banners. I suggest personalizing your banner and/or perhaps add a colored border - something to get visitors to notice you. Not for me but good luck to you Manuela.

I'm collecting like I always have. If nothing happens with Zubee Zone (no progress in payment processor or marketplace) then I earn a lot of advertising at the very least. And if things do improve, I'll be well positioned to take advantage.

First James states his site is not going anywhere and then later states he only made $4.99 since re-releasing his 'worthless site'.So which is it, standing by the site or is it worthless? As far as him dealing with PayPal and refund requests, I don't think he will have to worry about closing his account as I believethey will take care of that for him. They will look at his site and see it was only up a week or so, he sold lifetime upgrades, thenclosed down shop only to reopen a few days later after wiping all accounts. He made his "No Refund' policy irrelevant by closingshop. And I especially enjoyed "Go try to rip off someone with some money" after someone has spent money with him. I wish someone would rip me off by sending me some $$. lol I like to think that James just got in way over his head by starting a TE. But maybe something else is at work also, judging by the way he seems level-minded one minute and then explodes the next.

"Don't think so, ask any of the traffic exchange owners that have talked to paypal, what Paypal told them." Don't have to because most explain in their site emails and none that I recall stated it's TM's fault, but hold onto that. "You are wrong, this thread is about psarpit being stupid and creating this thread." Why attack psarpit personally? I doubt he's all that stupid. He just wants answers like we all do, and withdrawing cash from ZZ wouldn't hurt either. Btw, PayPal can change their minds at any time about who they do and do not conduct business with. I guess they changed their mind. Time to just move on; laying blame at someone's feet is not going to change the fact that a solution needs to be found. Tezak Traffic Power just reported they are removing the cash games so there may be at least something to my line of thinking. Have a wonderful day!

So are you saying that Zubee Zone is a scam or that perhaps psarpit did start this thread in the wrong area. This thread is about ZZ not TM. I've been using PP much longer than 13 yrs but no where near 'expert', kudos to you. And lastly, I read Kurt's article and he mentions TM not once. You want to blame TM, have at it, but it brings us no closer to a resolution in the TM/VM payment processor issue. What Kurt does mention is the 100% pay direct member-to-member sites which seems to be increasing in popularity. The fact that PP is going after VM's, and TM was not one, still remains unanswered. A common denominator between the two industries under attack are the multiple earning opportunities (affiliate, surfing, etc). And Kurt has a very good point too.
-
I don't think psarpit meant to imply that ZZ is a scam. He, like many here, are frustrated that zubees can no longer be traded for cash. Perhaps this thread should had been started somewhere else. I also don't believe anyone can put all the blame on Traffic Monsoon. All the mailers are affected too and TM never sent me an email. Perhaps owners should not had start offering $.01 for this and $0.05 for that. Seems to me that is what PP doesn't care for. I just wish a suitable replacement is discovered soon. Payza is not the answer as I have been waiting a week for bank account authorization that probably won't happen since I'm in the US. AlertPay fiasco all over again.
-
For those that viewed Clare's screenshot, that was pretty tame from what James later stated. The verbal abuse really took off after that. Stellar Hits is built with a familiar script and has great graphics...it could be so much more.
-
I have to agree with my ZZ friends on this one. In a span of a couple weeks, James opened a site then closed the site after going on a verbal assault to the same people that supported him, and at least a few of them upgraded. Oh, and no refunds even though the site was barely launched. Then he reopens the site after wiping out everyone's account which also included all commissions owed. Btw, he is still calling his customers moochers...he really knows how to convince members to upgrade. If you are after the login zubees then get them while you can but as far as spending money with James, three diamonds are not worth the amount of trouble this 'owner' provides.

Aussiegold, sounds like you are promoting to the wrong people to me. BMOB states I will get 80 leads/day and how many emails will I get per day/per month so I can email other disinterested 'hungry buyers'. Sounds like you have quite the Karatbars team so keep doing what is obviously working for you.
-
Highly unlikely that Zubee Zone shuts their doors. I would have added Payza just so business could go on as usual but these decisions are why JB (owner) gets the big bucks.
-
That is the ONLY bit of good advice I have seen concerning the PayPal issue since this has started. You should NEVER click a link that goes a financial site. And please don't respond to a query for account verification, I beg of you. I don't blame PayPal for what's going on in the TE/VM world, they are just trying to protect themselves. Seems to me PP is shutting down everyone because of the 'penny here and penny there' mentality included in what seems to be most TE/VM's. Unfortunately there is a lot of collateral damage due to association. If your goal is to build a business, you will never do that by earning $.01 at a time anyway.
-
I don't believe it is fair to label every program whose commission structure is a matrix as a 'scam'. As long as money is being traded for a product/service and not just a spot in the matrix, I don't really care if a matrix is used.

Agree with Ajay on tokens use as tokens are what separate TS from all others. Use them to offer for signups to whatever you are promoting or building. Also TS is very active; I don't remember the last time I saw <50 members online.
