I surf with the volume off in the browser and listen to podcasts usually. I actually look at the pages that come up though, unless it is a splash I have seen a million times. Some exchanges, the only thing you see advertised are other exchanges, PTC sites, and downline builders for exchanges and PTCs. I seriously wonder if a lot of the surfers have any plan to actually make money by means other than surfing.

When I'm surfing I'm usually keeping an eye open for interesting new sites that could benefit me. I'm also making mental notes about which pages 'work' and which don't - as Bruce Lee said, I'm 'absorbing what is useful'

While surfing I listen to motivational videos at Youtube, play spider, and solitaire...

I like to watch reruns of my favorite tv shows in one browser while I surf another.  

 

Sometimes I even knit, stopping to view the site, collect my credit and move on to the next site.  Knit while new sites are loading.  

 

I can actually get quite a bit of work done, flipping from browser to browser.  I used to use three laptops, but takes up too much space.  

 

Now I just do everything from one laptop.  Assign tasks to different browsers.  Hey, it works for me...lol

Yep, I always keep my eyes open for interesting new and old sites that could benefits me.

 

It's great to get in first on a program that the world need to know about. I have been fortunate to find a few of them since I been online.

I usually put on my headphones and listen to a good audiobook.  I do watch the pages briefly and if I see something of

interest to me, I stop the book and check the site out. Sometimes I'll sign up right then or bookmark it for later. There is

so much redundancy in surfing but its all part of IM game.

I have the other computer on, and listen to crystal toning bowls, as a rule  . I also have every recording ever produced by the Monroe Institute--for those unfamiliar, look up "Hemi-sync, Monroe Institute". My favorite for surfing is the SO Chord, personally, and Einstein's Dream for writing.....I often will layer a Hemi-Sync recording over the toning bowls, they go well together.

 

As an off topic, I have been playing with binaural beats, 432 HZ tones and other things to create some useful music myself  ......

With all due respect, I LISTEN to music, and I see only one person who says they watch other things, or do other tasks requiring eyes on while surfing (and they point out you can get a lot done while sites are loading). And for the record, I can both knit and crochet without staring at my work, personally--so even knitting/crocheting wouldn't significantly impact my surfing.

 

Listening to anything certainly doesn't stop me from watching ads, signing up for programs, or spending money.

I don't surf a lot anymore. Just a few here and there but back then I would only surf. I would surf 10+ exchange at a time so no time to do anything else.

I get way better results from mailers. But you have to "surf" those emails too!

 

What do I do? Marijuana. The thought of clicking for credits without thc makes my skin crawl.

I pay attention to the hottest new advertising sites and test out the free traffic sources ...i hit the jackpot sometimes when it come to some advertising and traffic sources coming through traffic exchanges as I surf!

Listening to music is the best.. I'd be bored out of my mind if I was just surfing without music

I chat to my friends in our team forum and end up staying up way too late so that I can finish my day's routine because of it ;-p Very hard for me to concentrate all the time on surfing.

Im listen the news on the radio while surfing. also rock music and grunge.

I use the time to talk with my daughter. She's usually sitting next to me on the couch clicking away at Clixsense. I discuss which ads seem to work with her and which opportunities look like they are worth joining, which appear to be scams or just time wasters. Good bonding time

How old is your daughter?

There are 2 kind of surfing for me:

1. I use Traffic Browser, open a lot of tab then focus on surfing.

2. Using Chrome, only open 1-3 tabs which is slow surfing while do other jobs or watching video (windowed/small screen) on top.

I am in and out a bit - hard to go at it for hours straight - definitely best to have other stuff happening so it isn't too monotonous.
