Did You Have Professional Offline Sales Training Before Coming Online?

I have a few years of "face-to-face", "door-to-door", and "belly-to-belly" sales experience. Your reach online is greatly extended.

And the next answer is No, this has not been much help online. In offline sales, you look for "tells" - voice inflection, body language, and many other indications you can observe to guide you to a sale. To root out the main objection and overcome it.

It is a bit different online. There is a whole new skill set involved. Some things do cross over; but, the approach and mechanics are a bit different.

It still all boils down to getting your foot in the door and being able to stay long enough to accomplish your goal. It still has to do with your "numbers" - how many "NO"s you have to get to see the "YES". Without knowing, you are doomed to failure. Without taking action, you are doomed to failure. You can't get a "NO" without knocking on some doors and communicating with people. Without getting "NO" you will NEVER get a "YES". Testing and experimenting will get you experience with what works.

I have experience in some of the requirements for Online Marketing but until you actually do it, you really don't understand what's involved. It's a whole new world when you go online and try to make money!

I have professional sales training which gave me an unfair advantage when it came to FREE advertising.

Every no that I hear bring me closer to a yes... I try to get as many no's as I can so that I could get to the yes...

The biggest lesson I learned, I learned from Amway about leveraging my time and efforts thru the help of others which was the biggest help in growing large downlines online. :)

Yes, a sales background, but more customer service orientated.

So my approach online is similar - just make sure my products/services are exposed to as many people as possible and try to be as helpful and available as I can be to anyone with problems or enquiries.

Yep, the key to my success online is exposing the products and services that I promote to as many people as possible. :)

cctv sales for me was offline work, like year 1990

it's based in Makati City, Philippines, it's a business sector of the Philippines so we just go telemarketing then prospecting then visiting their office for actual sales presentation, then installation. i also design using coreldraw the diagram that was  copied from handwritten  drawings.
