What would you consider a good CTR for banner ads?

I recently read in a couple different places that .01% click through is the industry standard.

 

Getting .00449% on 220k banner views from donkeymails.

Wow! That seems incredibly low! I was just checking my stats at Instant Ads 4 Me and my banners there are getting roughly a 1% CTR

Yeah. I'm also getting 4 or 5% click through on some banners set up on viral mailer sites.

Both... Obviously I'd expect credit-based views to produce higher CTR...

Did my mailing early this morning and found a 7% click through on a banner at Antmailer.

 

Off hand I'm not sure if that is incentivized, but I would assume so.

I have two banners there.. one is 7% after 7153 views, the other is 2% at 133 views.
