Im over Google

I have been internet marketing for years now and I remember the days when ranking high in google search results was possible when using the right seo methods.

In the past I managed to get quite a few websites on page 1 or 2 for certain keywords, now I struggle to even get seen on google.

I dont have this issue with the other search engines tho.

 

Am I the only one that feels like google is a lost cause now?

To really rank high for a decent keyphrase these days, you have to be pretty cutting edge with your content and SEO skills imo.

 

There is so much mysticism when it comes to SEO anyways, that these days I pretty much focus on putting out good content and then leave it at that.

I gave up on Google some time ago--Bing actually pulls better sales numbers for most of the people I know, especially those who belong to the Bing answer to Adsense/Adwords. The way I see it is quite simple--Bing is my search engine, and the engine I direct my best SEO/SEM/UE tricks towards, because they pay me for searching.

 

Granted, it only amounts to 15.00 a month or so--strictly a token, considering the value of the data they get from me from a psychographic segmentation/ marketing point of view. But at least they pay me that token. The amazon gift cards have proven useful for enlarging my Maneki Neko collection LOL.

I had once tried putting up a travel blog few years back via google and found the approval and other stuff is very very slow and not much fruitful. maybe  wordpress is  a better option to use over google

It aint a lost cause... seo is simple and I believe anyone can rank well with just a little bit of knowledge.

Same problem facing here, present Google is updated every day and stopping the keywords to rank in search results and they are diverting the business owners from SEO to PPC.

I don't deal with google that much. They seem to change their search algorithims so much that it seems impossible to keep up. Sites that rank high one day and fail the next. My site is on google, but I don't remember ever posting it.

 

As a side note, I would like to mention that ranking in Google now seems to be centered on two important factors: being mobile friendly and including video in your content. This was, according to my understanding of their latest updates, key factors in ranking.

if you are in wealthyaffiliate you can be trained to list your site on google and others by using it's own keyword research tool.

testimonies and blogs shows also that there are people able to make it top on their own respective keywords.
