Some of my favorite deletion triggers--

"Your Payment Is Overdue"

"Unclaimed Commissions"

"I Thought We Were Getting Along Great!"

"Can You Help Me Decide, [Firstname]?"

"RE: _________________________ (fill in the blank)

My favorites to use, and the ones that get double digit openings and good conversions on viral mailers--

You Get What You Deserve....

I'm an Idiot.

This is getting Creepy...

I'll show You Mine If You Show Me Yours ;-).

UPDATE: I still can't believe this! ----- >>>  SPECIAL NOTE: This one is written short newsletter style, complete with updates, BTW, I update the body of the email, drop off the oldest stuff, and use a different color of highlighter for the newest stuff. It's interesting to see the open rate, CTR rate AND signup rate climbing by the mailing LOL. I'm using it for Leads Leap at the moment. I've actually had downline members ask if they could swipe my UPDATE email. I tell them not unless they are willing to put in their real information with proofs.....

Yes, they are hackneyed, irritating, and downright stupid. But that little collection of gems has been working for me in the jackpot viral mailer market better than any of the canned ones programs provide.

I would never use them in a serious email campaign, of course. But for the clicking crowd, they work.

Your commissions are ready....(from totally unknown site or person!)

Do people seriously just think some random person is going to give them 1000's of £££ for no reason?????

The extremely sad fact is, yes - if these type of headlines didn't work for the spammers they wouldn't use them. Another unfortunate fact is it seems the spammers take their "craft" more seriously than most marketers do. It is also the lottery mentality most people have. The people who open these are the same people who think they are going to win the Powerball, find a lost treasure laying on the ground, a bag of cash on the road, and people who will randomly send them a huge pile of money by mistake. Hmmm, I wonder if that knock on my door is Publishers Clearinghouse with the big check....  :P

The sad thing is, so very many people fall for these and the Nigerian Scams. I have read some real horror stories about people who got sucked in and lost it all. A few of them even lost their lives by following through and actually going to these countries.

On the other hand, if I was paid $100 for every one of these I got in my email, I would be living alot better than I currently am. :D

If you are asking me where? You can look it up under nigerian Scams and horror stories. There was a scam exposing site dedicated to this topic some years ago. A number of these stories were from news papers and such that talked about how people either never came back or were later found dead. I think there may even be some of these stories on Youtube.

I do PITY and feel really sorry about gambling addiction, heard too many horror experiences

Any "Free Spins Are On Us" garbage that tries to hook you up into online gambling pits.

Who wins always? Casino's owner, Capt. Obvious!

BUT...

no other industry deploy & test state-of-the-art gamification & engagement inducing techniques like 'em!

Any cautious marketer has TONS to learn from those friggin' blokes.
