Is THWGlobal.com a scam?

It appears he has been watching Google trends and wants to capitalize of people searching for THWGlobal. Obviously he is using negative advertising to promote Wealthy Affiliate. For something to be a ponzi, there has to be money involved (the same with a pyramid scheme) and they don't charge to watch. There is already a pretty good discussion in the other thread about this program as to whether it will work or pay out.
