captkirk Posted September 14, 2016 Report Posted September 14, 2016 Hi Fellow MCP Members and Guests? Tommie Kirkland (Captkirk) here... It would be a really sad day if I lost my PayPal account. Numerous sites that I have promoted through the years have never bounced back after being banned by PayPal. And my sales took a nose dive because the account no longer accepted PayPal. No one was interested in the other Payment processors. I have no idea what I would do if my PayPal account was limited or banned by them. Guest mrclean0325 Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 This is a reason I try to only use affiliate programs that have a "pay you by check" or direct deposit option beside PayPal. i have been online too long and seen so many things come and go. I don't leave any money in my PayPal either like a lot of people do except a minimal amount. It is also tied to a bank account with a minimal amount. Their TOS is scary when reading it in the light of IF they think you did something wrong. Even if they made a mistake, they can tie up your funds for as long as they want and you have no recourse or options. They are not a bank and don't have to follow any banking laws, just the TOS you agreed to when signing up. Since the SEC went after AlertPay in the Zeke Rewards debacle, they are being very careful of what their customers are doing. PayPal was the payment processor for Traffic Monsoon and may soon be in trouble themselves. The courts ruled in the Zeke Rewards case that AlertPay was an accomplice to the fraud since they gladly processed all the payments and needed to cough up ALL the money they processed for them or else. This is a figure in the millions. A few TEs have gotten the "Ban Hammer" when PayPal didn't like their pay plan as well as many other businesses. You will see a lot more I am afraid soon from all the other stuff going on. Since PayPal is a US company, it could be very bad for them since there is now a precedent set from the Zeke Rewards case. To be REALLY scary - imagine your online life without PayPal.... Quote
yats Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 In case I lost my PP, I think I will leave those affiliate programs that only use paypal.I can accept other payment processor, bitcoin is good for me and fee is lower. I also have Payza but their fee is killing me. Quote

whyeyes Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 If my paypal account was lost i would probably take a hit...but i will bounce back. ...because of the way different programs are being told to stop using Paypal...I find myself using programs that aren't exclusive to this payout method. I need to always have options. Choose wisely when you get involved from the beginning Quote GET YOUR FREE SILVER BAR IF YOU CAN MAIL A POSTCARD YOU CAN GET PAID
captkirk Posted September 26, 2016 Author Report Posted September 26, 2016 Choose wisely when you get involved from the beginning I did choose widely. The sites followed all of PayPal guidelines and some of the sites have been online for years using PayPal. And PayPal won't tell them exactly why their account are limited or Frozen. So, your guess is as good as anybody why PayPal is doing what they're doing... Quote Tommie Kirkland (Captkirk) Here... SUBMIT ADS 4 FREE - I SIGNED-UP 433+ MEMBERS SINCE JUNE 29, 2022 - 100% FREE!

captkirk Posted September 26, 2016 Author Report Posted September 26, 2016 Not cool to have someone freeze your hard earned money for 6 months. Do they really hold your money for 6 months? captkirk Posted September 26, 2016 Author Report Posted September 26, 2016 We are not allowed to have paypal???????????? It depend on the sites that you're promoting. I make money with PayPal. And I have seen my sales and results die overnight when sites that I promote are forced to use other Payment Processors other than payPal. Quote Tommie Kirkland (Captkirk) Here... Yep PayPal is the most important of all of them. I make money with PayPal and little money with the others payment processors promoting the same exact program. Guest mrclean0325 Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 I have heard more bad than good about Payza from just about everywhere. Not crazy about PayPal personally. It does seem we need to look at other options since PayPal is on a rampage. Quote
