Hi Fellow MC Members and Guests,

Tommie Kirkland (Captkirk) here...

I never wait to have all my ducks in a row, All lights green, and etc before I get started.

The KEY is to get started...

Have you read or heard this quote:

“You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great― Zig Ziglar

I just started collecting Zubee Coins without knowing what I'm doing or the benefits of doing it.

But I do know, that Zubee Zone members are passionate about collecting Zubee Coins. They currently have 158 teams collecting Zubee coins.

In fact, I started my own team "Captkirk's Team", I don't have a clue about having my own team or being a team leader. But I do know that I will learn as I go along.

As I mentioned earlier... The KEY is getting...Started! :)

And remember...

“You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great― Zig Ziglar

To paraphrase Sir Richard Branson, "When presented with an opportunity - say "YES", then figure out how to do it". Far too many people wait for the "right" moment and it NEVER comes...there is never going to be a "right" moment - it is just when you decide to actually do it is when the real magic begins.

Where I come from, its said that you should "Fake it till you make it"  B)   But I guess in this industry that could be misconstrued   Sir Branson's quote sounds better lol

I never liked the "Fake it 'til you make it" - I prefer, "Project it until you perfect it".

That is great that you have started your own team.

I have found that collecting them is cool to do and

is is just as consuming far as time. But I still like it.

I wish you much success in your journey. Continue to learn

as much as possible because that is the only way we truly grow.

Believing in your natural ability to adapt and then excel in new endeavors is all you need to succeed. Oh yeah, and a bunch of hard work!

Now, I wish that I have kept up with my hours to know how close or how far I have come to the 10,000 hours! :)

But who's counting when you're having fun, as they say, time flies when you're having fun! :)

Funny thing is, that 10,000 hours is referring to a music ability if you read further into it.

I believe if you know just a bit more than who you are dealing with, you are the "expert". In the end, people are willing to pay for information they don't know and if you can provide it you will make money. It all depends on the information you have to provide. You don't necessarily need to be an "expert" to provide the information either. Just being a good researcher to compile info in an understandable manner is enough. People will also pay money for services so they don't have to do them, not they can't they just don't want to do them.

People want vegetables and don't want to farm so they go to the market. Same with meat if they don't want to hunt or fish. Our whole culture is based on these concepts. They don't like their tap water so pay an enormous amount for tap water from somewhere else that may or may not be as good as they get out of their faucet. So people end up paying a lot more for things they don't want to do themselves. Billions are spent everyday on these things.

It all comes down to relativity, perception, and convenience.

The perception is the key in our business. This is why there are SO many "experts" and have different ways of doing things and half of them contradict the other half. This is why people who are less qualified get more press since they created a better perception of their expertise. They tell a better story than the rest. So abilities and talent will only get you so far. There are many with more than 10,000 hours in something and are still broke.

If you look at a big dollar professions like doctors and lawyers, they have to spend 10,000 hours to get in a practice. A fact is 50% of them were in the bottom half of their class...
