Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my thoughts and suggestions about doing research before joining sites.

For one particular type of sites I recommend checking out ptccentral, in my opinion the reviews there are honest and have (at least so far) been updated decently.

I don't look to join ptc's really however but it was a good site for me when I got started and should be a good source for reviews for ptc's

When it comes to the typical program or site that looks way too good to be true I generally tend to ignore it and look the other way, but sometimes if for whatever reason I would become interested enough I will definately try to find different reviews, many people do make quite honest reviews and I will typically look around until I find a few different reviews claiming good things and a few claiming bad things. I especially want to know about the bad things, the downsides.

If whatever is bad about something is bad enough (to me) then I won't really be that interested even if I could earn from it. From my personal point of view I wouldn't want to sell something that I don't believe has good enough value to the people I would sell it to and I definately prefer the "safer" type of sites that I believe can last.

For example skinny body care, which may be great to many, I ended up pre-enrolling because that did seem harmless enough. After looking around there and also looking at more reviews I just figured it's not for me because I'm skeptical of the products and I definately think they are overpriced :)

That being said I hear a lot of positives about SBC and I don't think they are a scam, people might make a lot of money. I do however wonder about the sustainability in it, but if you are in SBC I hope you can make a lot of money from there.

Of course there are sites that I feel I can without really doing research first as long as I know what it's about. I would say traffic exchanges fall into this type of site. I'd do some research and get to know the site before I spend money mostly.

So, when it comes to doing research how do you do it, do you do it? Also, what kind of sites are you looking for?

I hope this post may inspire someone to do more research and have a healthy skepticism, doesn't mean don't believe in anything.
