Yes Tommy . Most of them will not like it for the second reason which i mentioned .

One needs to accept reality although how much harsh it may be. But simply stating Te industry has got impacted big time and now not only paypal but other payment processors are looking at it like a money pyramid scheme.

Bitcoin is the next big thing and atleast for the next few years before it gets challenged by another crypto currency

I agree RE Bitcoin. I am not afraid of it.. I am accepting it as payment and also as a payout option to affiliates.

The issue is that so few people actually use it to purchase anything that you would struggle to run a business solely on it.. you have to have other options that people are more comfortable with and used to.

Many members are opposing bitcoin and most of these are Te owners .And no wonder why

Reasons  -> volatile rate of bitcoin which may risk their wallet . Another reason ->There are so many bitcoin faucets that the te owners are afraid that their TE's will become redundant since many users will switch over to bitcoin collection.. :D

And the second reason no TE owner will acknowledge in the open .

So despite vehmently denying the fact by many Te owners, the fact is that bitcoin concept or crypto currency is here to stay for atleast next 4-5 years albeit with govt regulations which i foresee coming as it gains popularity

So all the TE industry would be left with is real marketers. That would be sad indeed

What nonsense.

A TE is a marketing tool. A Bitcoin faucet is a way of earning a small amount of money from viewing some ads - closer to a PTC than a TE. They are two completely different things. Or do you think that TE surfers are going to start buying advertising space on Bitcoin faucets instead of using TEs? I can't see that happening.

Very well said Cristin :)

Well time will tell how many people will actually surf Te's. Time the Te owners start accepting ideas rather than rubbishing them aside altogether.

Mutually appreciating one another will not help. already Te owners can see the impact of paypal and payza's crackdown.

Don't know whom we are trying to fool :D

Can you earn $ in TEs without surfing? Tell that to any newcomer with standard membership and 0 referrals. Of course TE is ad-based business so it is any PTC. You're paid to watch ads, surf, achieve goals, etc.

I don't have to watch any ad when claiming on faucets. Mainly you only have to see (you can close your eyes too) those banners from networks.

A Faucet is much more close to a Paid to Solve Captcha than a PTC or TE. But with A LOT BETTER payout methods and much easier to reach cashout, in most of the cases.

Of course, those who are promoting faucets will rave about them. I'm not against earning in that way. I've been trying to include some of this into my schedule too recently, and will continue to do so for the time being. But I don't enjoy this at all. I hate solving captcha and its probably made more tedious by my slowish internet connection. Nothing will replace TEs and Viral Mailers for me. But then, I'm not in them to surf for cash. I'm in them to advertise. The little bit of cash that comes from surfing or reading mails collects and goes toward things like hosting and tools. If I'm upgraded, I work to pay that off by promoting the site for enough commissions to cover it.

The reason that I'm collecting some bitcoin (using faucets and doing some small promoting for referrals in them), is so that I can start to use that money toward my advertising. Already my paypal is drawing money for my existing subs from my credit card, while commission is coming into Payza where I'm still limited because they're so slow to process documentation. No payments can be done from there for the time being. Some TEs and mailers are accepting bitcoin, but I don't blame them if they're not paying out in bitcoin yet, because from what I hear, very few are using the option to make purchases with it. Is it a case of "chicken or egg first" :P

1. TEs are for advertising, not for earning $. If you happen to earn some commissions that's a bonus. The idea is to earn $ from whatever it is that you are advertising.

2. "You are paid to watch ads, surf"... err, no. In a TE you earn credits to use for advertising, you do not get paid for surfing. If you are getting paid for surfing then it's not really a genuine TE, it's a paid to surf site.

1. I don't think that most of the TEs users are there spending their time for sheit traffic. Really, I never got any signup to any site advertised on TEs - beside TrafficSwirl which has good quality users. Everyone firstly signs up because they're expecting to make some cash. Take that away and you'll see how many new users will sign up on TE...

2. As said above, take the cash rewards away, and you'll see users activity with arms crossed  Why would a standard new member spend his time surfing 100 sites, to win 30-40 credits and 0 cash?

Latest update says (in part):

"At this point it is highly unlikely that the option to redeem your zubees for cash will ever return."

"The opportunity here is to rebuild the site up from this foundation in ways that bring real value to our partners and the audience that aligns in their best interest.

I will still have cash contests, because let's face it -- they're fun. But the focus clearly needs to be towards quality as opposed to volume in the day to day."

It was a crazy year at ZZ. Owners were even selling subs to get all three coins just for logging in. $3 per month was the average, with one site promising to increase that to $5 per month after 36 subscriptions had been taken. Team competition got fierce at times. Crazy, really. I guess, if John wants to rebuild, he's going to have to come up with something more exciting than a market just to change zubees to credits
