Fiverr and other marketplace

Hello!

 

Does anyone know whether there are some sites just similar to fiverr but is legit and paying?

I have heard that fourerr is a bit trickyin payment?

There are lots of similar sites that seem to come and go pretty often. Just searching on Google for a list of ones made in 2016 and most of the links are dead. The payment minimums through the sites are what causes people the most grief and why they complain about payment. The site is just the processor for the payments from your customers, if you don't do enough to get the minimum - you won't get paid. If the site doesn't get paid, you won't get paid. The ones that come and go, probably not so much as they don't seem to stay long enough to pay out. They will collect the money though. None that I have seen have the benefits Fiverr has since it has established itself pretty well. On any of them you are competing with a lot of others and the only way to get business is to do marketing to send people to your offers, just like everything else. No marketing = No money.

I think someone needs to develop a check list of sort where people like us can get a true picture at a glance and save ourselves from getting duped.

I would add stick with the original Fiverr site, as  too many imitation sites just didn't have what it takes

Please note you will be competing with lots of members who have built a reputation, for prompt delivery and quality service

Which will take time to acquire and until you do get a good you won't be able to charge more than $5 less $1 admin fee

People start these sites in the hopes of "making it big" and later find out how tough it is to make it. I agree with the comment above. If you are selling a service, you really need to be on top of your game and deliver quality work on time. Failure in either area will result in disaster. It's important to realize that you may not make a lot in the beginning, but if you delivery quality work (and on time), your reputation will grow. I would also suggest having upsell items to offer as well.

Upsell item is a good idea.

But I use fiverr and coz I got some delay before in handing works so I only got 78% Reputation now.

How can I get back better reputation?

You have to do more positives to offset the negatives which will take time and a lot more customers. One method I heard about was to try to encourage the bad reviewer to change their review by doing some pro bono work for them. Something like "I am so sorry I failed to meet your expectations. Is there something I can do for you, for free, to get you to reconsider the review you gave me?" or something along those lines. May or may not work and may open you up to a lot of stuff you may not want to deal with. Either way it is not easy to get your rep back.

REbuilding your reputation will take some time to do. The most important thing is to deliver quality work at a reasonable price. Make it a point to let your customers know that you will work with them to meet their requirements. Another thing to do is to convey the idea that you are willing to work with them to deal with any issues that may come up. I do alot of shopping on fiverr and have had only a few issues with sellers. I try to work with them, until they prove they won't deliver.

Sites like Upwork, iFreelance, Freelancer are similar but Fiverr has by far the biggest traffic and a larger variety of services. The benefit that sites like iFreelance have is they let you keep 100% of your earnings. That may not mean much in the long run though. Like I said, Fiverr has a larger traffic.

try freelancer.com its almost like fiver. upwork is also a vary good platform for freelancing.
