Facebook Groups - Do You Have a Large Group?

I have several FB groups, most of which I started years ago. Every week I have to go and delete porn posts and add new members. My biggest has grown to over 17,000 members organically. 
Is there anything I can do with this group, as the admin, apart from pinning a post to the top, changing the main pic and posting there myself?

Hi Sue,

            a group of 17k+ is an awesome achievement...congrats! Of course, getting your message to them all is similar to emailing a list, and facebooks algorithm probably means only a small percentage get your message :-(  I know that the amount I receive daily makes it impossible to catch every message before it is scrolled into oblivion!

 

       Can you tell us, why did you start the group, and have you achieved that goal? Has it been worth the effort, financially?

Hi Sue, I did attempt to start a group some time ago but found it all too hard. Like you say, maintaining it and posting etc only to reach a few people. Rather, I joined several groups (over 90 at last count) that are marketing related and post regularly on those. I use Facebook Autoposter to send bulk posts daily. I have had mixed results so far but did manage a few referrals. Just the usual persistence and numbers....

I think you have to join related group for your site for better conversion rate.

Yes I agree, horses for courses.... there is an awful lot of "noise" in some FB Groups.....

Thanks for your replies guys. I don't want to join other groups. I am already a member of too many!
I was just hoping there was something else I could do with such a large group of people in one place with me as admin.

i have lots of fb groups and about 47 pages

i have one group which has 3k+ members and to date im a member of 405 groups.
