You Tube Irritating?

I read a few things a couple months about Google possibly having issues since their main business model depends on ad revenue. Then I started to notice a few popups wanting me to sign up, and pay, for their "premium" services. I also noticed a lot more ads while watching YouTube videos.

 

Today, I had to get interrupted every 3 minutes by a "commercial" in the videos. Then while there is no ad, there is a popup for signing up for YouTube Red. This is the premium, no commercials or ads version of YouTube. I know some people who signed up and were less than thrilled with the service. I didn't mind an ad every now and then, but every three minutes seems extreme.

 

Does any of this bother anyone else or am I just being crabby?

 

Does this also mean we should start imagining a world without "free" Google products?

No, you are not being crrabby. I have noticed the commercials too. It gets quite irritating to watch a commercial every few minutes. Makes me want to dump Youtube entirely.

install an ad blocker so you won't experience this.

For me, I don't find it Irritating, it's just part of using YouTube for free. YouTube Is Awesome...

it depends if you are not scheduled to watch you tube then it pop ups in your face to me that's irritating

but if you intend to watch youtube, youtube is the best, google of all things you need to watch.

For me it's a small price to pay seeing the ads of fellow marketers.

 

YouTube is awesome to find out how to do things, I visit YouTube daily.

yes, if i will be on unlimited isp i will be doing that as well and also download from it but for now, im conserving internet since our internet here is not unlimited.
