Well said.  SOTAM is for real, but Affiliate Funnel should be able to set you right up with the best traffic sources.  I also like List Surfing and List Jumper for click through rates that are consistently above 4% (for me).

That's very correct, in some traffic sites work paid surveys, in some sites traffic offers, in some sites make money offers. This is why it's useful to track conversions to sort out sites where there is best audience for my offer.

You can use Alexa site stats, owned by Amazon, to see roughly how popular a site is, The lower the ranking the more traffic it has, in general, it is not a perfect measuring tool.

Yes.. like super roughly, like you can have alot of PTC hits go there and manipulate the rank, but hardly any signup or buy (depending on what the site is tho). Good way to tell if by looking at the referring sites it lists, and by the top countries

before it's a good source of traffic ranking but we have now bing. and i remember a site that requires me to install alexa toolbar first before starting to surf to decrease my alexa number it worked great started with 17million ranking and after 3 days use i ended up 5million ranking in alexa. but there's a site that requires alexa toolbar before you surf but when i installed it, always it's installed it says alexa toolbar not installed and alexa toolbar will rank that site file not found. lol
