Hi Fellow MC Marketers and Guests,

Tommie Kirkland (Captkirk) here...

The most important sale that I made online was my...First Sale!

Why?

Because it proved to me that I could make money online.

Now, it didn't matter if I made 1 cent as long as I made a sale.

I don't know what I sold other than it was a Clickbank product (I think).

How Important was your first sale?

I agree with that, and Learning where to put my Post. ;)   I felt kind of dumb when I made a remark to a post and when I completed, there was a pic of me further down, with a nice place to make a post.

I have not had much success with sales. Have used solo ads and facebook, but maybe posting the wrong material. What I am hinting for, are a few pointers, and if some of those that are more experienced will share, it could benefit all.

So how do you earn the credits here by Posting?

 Thanks

Will wait for  your replies

Welcome Lowell

I've been a member here for over 5 years and I still come back almost every day to look for inspiration and read the posts of my fellow members. This is a prime place of learning for me :-))

My first sale was very important, I used to do SEO services. This is when there was askjeeves, altavista and others were popular engines along with FFA sites. Google was a new! My first sale was in trade for giant Ostrich eggs and Emu eggs. I still have 1 of each to this day!

(they later would send me a check for services in the mail - we used checks in the mail before ppal and the rest was a factor). But it was important because it showed me there was possibly a way out of a very bad situation. And it ended up to do just. Still to this day. 2 decades later and counting. And I thank the universe it did.

I'm sure my first sale online was on Ebay. It was a large Wolverine figure that I bought at ToyBiz for $10 and sold for  $50. There were a few others,

but I didn't do the Wash, Rinse and Repeat that is so very important. Consistency is so important and the money is in the followup.

My 1st sale was in Liberty (anyone remember them)

I made a $3 commission.

They issued a cheque to me in the UK, minus a $2 processing fee, so I received a $1 cheque.

It proved the concept that I COULD earn online and was also really amusing, so I framed it and still have it.

That's awesome that you saved it!
