I find the split pane view is better in the new gmail, when it comes to checking mails and also for clicking credit mails. The vertical split puts the subjects on the left and you just click the ones you need to see and, move the ones you want to keep. I don't delete mails as I go through them, that's slow now, just delete them all one shot after.

Wow!  I have never experimented with it.  Just found it at Settings > Advanced.  Thanks for the info. :)

There's an app that I admittedly haven't tried yet, called Email Studio for Gmail. This looks like it can delete emails after a given time frame.

What features are included with Email Studio
——
1. Mail merge for sending personalised emails.
2. Send later for sending emails on a recurring schedule.
3. Forwarding for bulk forwarding old Gmail messages.
4. Auto-Responder for sending smart auto-replies.
5. Draft copier for cloning Gmail draft emails.
6. Gmail Purger for automatically deleting redundant emails by time.
7. Email unsubscriber for removing yourself from unwanted mailing lists.

If you go into your Gmail settings, scroll down and enable keyboard shortcuts, you can use the letter J to advance to the next email without moving your mouse across the screen to click a button,

this feature and the fact that if you press the scroll button over a link, it opens a new tab without leaving the original tab, have trpled the speed at which I can earn credits.

I also use quick tab change to click on the creidt images once i have about 30 tabs open.

StepLadder Downline Builder Its what Im working on!
