Remember the days of Alertpay? Those ended when MH Pillars Ltd acquired the company merging it in to Payza. Many of you may recall the several issues countless individuals encountered with Alertpay such as withdrawal limitations.

In May 2012 that seemed to have been resolved. Payza came out as a better, reliable service with a *mostly* positive history. Over the course of 2013, yet again, negative experiences came to light though not quite as often as Alertpay.

Most recently, however, Payza eliminated the options for accepting from and sending to US customers through Payza. And even more severe was the complete termination of withdrawing the money in US Payza accounts to bank accounts, including receiving a check for the balance in our accounts.

Whether you had/have $10 or $10,000 in your Payza account, tough. Or, at least that seems to be the response from Payza. It's unethical for a company to not release money that was paid to you - it's yours, not theirs.

Have you had to experience this mess? What is your opinion on Payza?

The whole Payza situation sucked for a long time for me in the UK. From the moment they became Payza I couldn't do anything except pay outgoing subscriptions from the balance I had. But I couldn't accept money so all my AlertPay incoming subscriptions (mostly VitalViralPro) stopped - significant loss of income, and when my balance was gone, all my outgoing AlertPay/Payza subs for programs failed because they wouldn't even let me pay funds in to keep my subs going.

They suck and I hope those with funds trapped get them back. I doubt I'll ever be tempted to use them again.

When someone order at september 2013 via payza they hold my payment for 15 days. When i try to withdraw fund via my local bank payza security system again hold fund and told me they need to confirm email by my client to transfer fund to my local bank. Payza policy not so good to use and also support not good. And i would say stay away from payza.

Payza harrassing people too much. Payza is really fraud. I recommend everyone to stop using Payza.

Yeah I thought Payza would clean up the Mess after Alertpay. (Illegal stuff like cyclers, hyips etc)

But it went the other way around.... I had n0 problems with AP personally (could use and withdraw my money all the time)

I've not been able to withdraw any money since Nov 2012 From Payza....

When I get paid in Payza I can use the money to buy stuff...

that's it... This means I do not accept Payza in anything I control.

A few programs pay with Payza only ( programs I don't actively promote

but make money with like passive, from dlb's or such)  :D

I totally agree, but the problem is that it's illegal for Payza to transfer money in the US. That's why they can't release the money. It was their (former) business partner that had the US licensing, and they've apparently been shut down.

My Credit Union alerted me each and every time I used my CU Visa credit card on PayZa. I finally found out from them that PayZa transactions were processed in Russia thus the alerts. I don't trust any  Epay program with more than $100 of my money.

@Jim - Certainly interesting to hear. I'm not sure how many of us Payza users know much about where the processing has been taking place. Either way, it's certainly a bit alarming to hear processing was being handled in Russia.

Thank God I had my account with zero funds at the time they freeze all of the US accounts. I was getting customers to my site once in a while so, it have not affected me. I really would like to see people with their funds in hold to get them back soon.

I have never been a fan neither of Alertpay or Payza, though I have to say I have always collected my money, considered that I used the account only for doing and receiving payments. I never withdraw cash, because if the system  in principle was the less expensive, it was expensive to us because they did no longer accepted neither prepaid cards nor normal mastercards but only bank transfers, which we have to avoid for the problem of currency. They said it was only a temporary problem, but after one year I checked yesterday and they still do not accept credit cards. I work very well with Paypal since years and I have their credit card too where I can transfer or withdraw money instantly with a simple internet connection. Never had a problem and they are very cautions in transactions and at the least problem they call you personally by phone. Very good service.

I did not like Payza and tried to just spend the small amount I had in the account.

I have just checked it now and have no balance I have not signed their new terms and conditions so I assume my account will be closed.

I did not want to be chased for any fees for holding the account in their new terms and conditions.

I tend to stick with paypal now as I feel I trust them and avoid programs that use other payment methods.

I have stayed clear of the Bitcoin thing as it seemed a bit dodgy to me. I may be totally wrong because I have not looked into it. But I have seen there has been a problem with one company with it.

Update:

Payza is back for customers in the US. Not only is it back but previous balances were set to $0, whether there was $10 or $10,000 in the account.

Are you willing to trust Payza to accept payments for your products/services? If so, are you going to change any of your business practices?

For me, we'll allow Payza transactions but will not keep a balance for more than a month or two - not worth losing thousands of dollars again.

Well that is strange. I know I live in Germany and it might be different, but I requested a sum to be transferred to my German bank account on Monday and it is already in my account. I am sorry that people are having trouble. However, it appears to working OK for me.

Is it still a problem in other parts of the world?

Best regards and looking forward to hearing from you soon, John.

Payza is now doing withdrawals again to US bank accounts... finally!

Gosh I hope this is true as I've had money tied up there for ages not being able to withdraw.

I had submitted all of the required information to validate my account a long time ago but still couldn't get through all the red tape.

A few of the advertising sites I am a part of use Payza, otherwise I wouldn't have been in this mess to begin with.
