When I started last year, i was working online about 20 hrs a day, 7 days a week. I barely slept each night for the first 4 months. But as the learning curve leveled out (I was able to perform tasks quicker), I built up my downlines and got my foundation set up for most of my own sites, the hours steadily came down.

Now I hardly ever work more than 10 hours a day ...but I might put in a 16 hour day here or there. I only work a couple of hours on the Saturdays and Sundays, if I feel like it. Last week I took a bit of a vacation (the first I've allowed myself since I started) I didn't put out any promotions (I still approved member advertising and responded to tickets), but I was still able to cover costs, paid out a few hundred in commissions and made extra money, so the hard work is beginning to pay off. :) Took me about 16-17 months to get here and it just keeps getting better.

Now that I got a solid foundation I'm spending less time to generate (more) traffic than before. But then again I'm using the extra free time to "work" on new projects, even if that's not really "working" as I love what I'm doing.  If you have ideas and want something, you can enjoy "working" on the details and planning everything. Currently I have a full time day job. I wake up 6AMand return home 7.30PM, so I use my evenings, weekends, lunch breaks and train & bus rides to do some work :)

All of it, I pretty much still do it as a hobby / for fun even though it's been my full time income for a few years... I just prefer to do it when nothing else is going on, but when I started it was definitely every minute every day possible... I've been sick this week and have been able to just do my daily stuff an hour or so a day, so that's probably all I really NEED to work, but I'd rather put in more time then watch tv or any other mindless things so usually if I'm just at home doing nothing - I'm working, which ends up being probably half a day or more.. though admittedly most of it is just chatting with people lol

I spend most of my spare time on internet. Since my family and personal interests require a lot of time my daytime, I mainly work nightime. I read also a lot. I am not an active presence in social networks because I do not like the kind of relationship.

I am quite happy.  :)

As I also have an offline business, I tend to spend most of my evenings working online but also whenever as the waeather is bad as my offline business is outdoor and I can't work in the wind or rain. Being in UK, this means that I have had a LOT of time online lately. Oh, sorry, need to go, just seen my sofa floating off outside! ;-)

As I also give face-to-face self-empowerment training,

I tend to invest only spare time to growing mine online passion.

Most of evenings and at least 50% time of free weekends working online.

I have ramped-up my time on-line over the past few weeks and it is starting to show results. I now do around 5 hours per day. It is not too tedious, although I have to get myself out of bed a bit earlier to accommodate it (smile).

Best regards, John.

It seems like there isn't enough time in a day to do what your mind thinks you can do. Time is an element that we as marketer have very little of, at first thought. But thru the practice of time development, we learn how to allocate time to get it done.

I remember when I did a distance learning MBA course, the first thing they taught us was time management. I was surprised at how much time you can find in a day using commuting time effectively and not watching so much trash on the TV. It was certainly an eye-opener.

Have a grand start to the week, John.

I looked at List Jumper, It was a good program!

I may eventually pick It up, but It's not the right

time.

 Thanks

It's tricky at times to decide on what lists to upgrade and which to pass/hold off on...

Like I read on another thread, following the launch dates of reputable list owners/admins is a good start.

Me too, I'm on 10-12 hours/day pretty much 7 days a week.  My problem is that I have bought so many things, I just can't focus on one thing as I'm trying to go through all the training!  Anyone else have a similar problem?

Yeah, first thing first.

Commuting time can be made profitable:

* if yourself are the driver, you can listen to podcasts or audiobooks related to your learning needs.

* otherwise, you can as well write, mindmap... sky is the limit.

Forget TV, you are making a change from content consumer to content creator/provider!
