About 6 hrs aday 7 days a week though if family stuff dictates take Sunday or just fit in 2 hrs. Only time computers are off is Christmas day. As mentioned time management is so important. I work more and more on Social sites they are a untapped source of leads and signups but work is needed using my methods.

I have just retired and so have plenty of time to spend online. I chose to move to the Philippines so the I am not distracted but then

I found other distractions :-) I guess I am spending on average around 8-10 hours a day on my business and there never seems to

be enough time to do everything I want to do. My method is to focus on one thing at a time and at the moment it is safelists and traffic

exchanges.

I am not sure I understand Marketing Checkpoint yet but I'll keep playing..

Regards,

Bob.

I spend most of my spare time on internet. Since my family and personal interests require a lot of time my daytime, I mainly work nightime. I read also a lot. I am not an active presence in social networks because I do not like the kind of relationship.

I am quite happy.  :)

Is it so long since anyone posted to this thread? I just wanted to add that the "watching TV" part of the above post related to being very selective with what you view. Once I had given up surfing the channels and only switching the thing on to watch the news, the time "created" was immense. Also, I found that waiting for the films that I wanted to see to come out on DVD reduced the amount of time I used watching films on the TV. The added benefit is that living in Germany most TV (and cinema) films have been dubbed. Watching them on DVD normally means you can select the original sound tracks.

I hope that helps, John.

I suppose I'm only average at 10 - 12 hours a day. Maybe a few more on the weekend and a few less weekdays plus a full time job on the railroad. Like someone else mentioned I have probably joined too many sites and spread myself too thin but I am trying to weed out those that work from those that don't. Safelists, traffic exchanges, PTC, solo ads, but I'm still in the red each month.

One or two hours a day unless I am skyping or talking with someone.  10 hours on a weekend.

I spend the weekend hours doing creative stuff like drafting marketing emails. Week day time is spent sending emails, reading emails and surfing.

Before reading the comments I thought I was the crazy spending so much time on the internet but I see there are guite a few folks spending 10 - 12 hours. I basically live on the internet. LOL But it's because I love doing it and it pays the bills.

I usually try to put in a good 2-3 hours in after I get home from work. The plan is to eventually be able to work online fulltime, but until I can figure out a good way to make this work, I'm stuck part time.

I have been going for 20 years and have reached the conclusion that 10 hrs +  is w.......ay too much.  There is a life away from the internet!  I spend 1-2 hrs/day and I call that being addicted. I am retired and the kids are gone.  I hope no one is spending that kind of time on there CPU if they have little kids.   If you are doing this for fun and using it instead of TV time or reading or eating (hmmm there's an interesting concept), then I believe you are doing fine.  But, 10 hrs !@#$%.

That's way over the top; especially if you are losing $.

Webmasters and persons who own their own sites, put in whatever amount of time is necessary to maintain they're sites and keep them growing.  That makes sense. (Do you feel a "but" coming?).

But, for those of you who are just doing affiliate programs - READ MY 1 - PAGE BLOG.

BTW, I enjoy affiliate programs, but,  READ MY 1 - PAGE BLOG.

Read it several times and print it out or save it somewhere - you can thank me later B)

It depends on what I have to do/am able to do in my main offline business - I have health problems, so sometimes I'm not able to go out much, which means spending more time online. Probably an average of 5 hours a day online, but not all of that is 'work' - though with the help of tabbed browsing, I can be surfing several sites at the same time as catching up with Facebook!

Generally how many hours a day do you work on your business? I know in my early days it was practically all my spare time, now it is much much less.

For me it really varies, some days I do nothing, some days it could be 30 mins to 1 hour and some days it could be 10 or 12 hours - Depending on what my focus is on and objectives are will usually determine how much time I spend working on my business.

At the start I was working 10 -12 hours daily but now I can pretty much cut that down to just 30 mins to 1 hour - Life is Good! :-)

I try to put in a normal 8-hour day, but working from home it doesn't always work out that way, lol.  Usually I end up doing a few hours in the evening as well, to make up for lost day hours. One of these days the income will be bigger than the outgo, and I won't have to worry about it.

Taking another kick at the can, because I can.
