Hi All,

I'm currently building my own product / website and graphic design and banner hosting has always been a weak point for me.

I am wondering if anyone can suggest any good training and/ or good quality banner makers?

I have done a bunch of googling and have found a few banner creator type websites as well as some info on how to make and host my own after using canva to make the images but I am throwing out the call for any pros on here that may have any advice before I make a decision on which way to go and what to use.

Thanks in advance..

Cheers

Nate

I've always paid to have my banners made, bannersmall has always been good to me, but haven't used them in years.

I know some people use BannerMakerPro to make their own banners. I'm sure Canva can work too, not sure about the differences as I said I tend to pay for my banners.

To find good website templates I've used Themeforest, many of my site designs have come from there.

im using adobe illlustrator to design the text so it's sharp and i use adobe livemotion to add animation to it and also adobe photoshop to add some pizzaz to it, but be careful with photoshop because it will make it bit by bit meaning image not vector. decide first on the final size like 468x60 pixels then design everything the finishing touch is adobe photoshop dont resize anymore. i hope it helps.

Thanks Darren,

I have the website  covered but will definitely check out those banner options. Paying might be my best option to save time and the learning curve on an aspect I am useless with.

Thanks for the advice, several adobe products might be out of my price range for my needs (just a handful of banners) for this project but it is something I hadn't considered so will do a bit of research on using adobe.

Just thought I would update this.

After pretty much a full day of googling and trial and error I have managed to find a quick and easy method to create really cool banners using Canva (which is cheap and I already had for logo and website design stuff) and then using cpanel to upload and host on my website.

I know this may seem easy and obvious to some, but for someone who has always struggled with this aspect it was a really cool achievement for the day.

Hi , Some of the best training you will find is Worldprofit they also have a Banner maker, If you want to have a look around you can join as a free associate and also get a lot of free advertising,

Best of luck, Clarence Hammel

Thanks for the tip.

I joined worldprofit a long time ago (without upgrading) but found the back office very confusing and probably missed a lot of the actual value because I just couldn't find it.

Cheers

There are tons of tutorials for this on YouTube

Thanks, yes I found a few! A day full of googling and watching videos and I now have banner making down to a fine art!

It is amazing what can be self- taught these days with the power of social sharing online.

Canva is fantastic and so quick and easy to use.  If you are a creator online then I think this is the way forward.  I use it all the time for my own product creations, banner, web pages, etc.

I design in canva then use a site called pic resize to resize the image into whatever size I need, such as 468x90 banner.

Example:

rsz-crush-it-with-crypto.png

Then I host it on img hosting for free and copy image url to use over and over again.

How cool is that?

You can use canva too along with picresize.  Works amazingly as I use AI to create the banner image.
