Kimberly Rutherford Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 In response to your question on facebook groups: My experience is that just posting ads to groups is not very efficient. The "clicks" you get rarely lead to dedicated team members. That said, actually networking in groups that are designed for connecting rather than posting can be quite successful, so look for the ones that don't allow links. For me, the true value of social media is the ability to specifically target people (using the parameters that work for you) and reaching out to build relationships with your chosen audience. My team has been bringing in 100+ people a week using this strategy. Although the sheer number of people you communicate this way is lower, the quality (and conversion) is much greater. Feel free to find me on facebook (where else?) if you'd like to talk more about this. Lee1390335936 Posted July 8, 2014 Report Posted July 8, 2014 I have had very little success as far as recruiting goes when just posting different links into Facebook groups and most marketers that I have connected with say the same thing. As far as Facebook goes I believe that if you want to see good results then you might try the paid advertising method, and utulize the FB graph to find targeted prospects for whatever opportunity one is promoting. These however are just my thoughts and others may find success posting into various groups? Ted Carter Posted July 11, 2014 Report Posted July 11, 2014 The only positive results that I've had with facebook (and I have to be in the mood) is to look at the persons profile first. You can tell a lot about a person by looking at his/her page. If it is spammy I move to one that looks professional then I will go back and give them a like or a share. Believe me they will contact you. Then mostly listen. When he is done pitching you he will start asking questions then. If I sense a sell I will continue. If not move on. I know this sounds like a lot of trouble however the quality of the lead is quite high. Even if no sale is made, you have created a good contact that could be benifical down the road. kpc1280 and jrodriguez8386 2 Quote All The Best,TedSkype ted.carter24http://www.12path.com/red1/

Lee1390335936 Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 I have experienced not more than an echo when trying to advertise any opportunity or offer within the FB groups. I believe it feels like everybody is just yelling at one another! The FB graph is my recommendation for success on FB, as well as relationship marketing. If your promoting any opportunity I think it is more important to connect with new people on a more personal level before ever exposing your link to them. Some people are never going to be convinced they can make life-changing income unfortunately. Kurt Tasche Posted August 8, 2015 Report Posted August 8, 2015 Most groups in the MMO or Home Biz niches are spam-fests. They do work, if you can draw attention to your post, before it gets dropped downin the list. If you give value, and invite people to connect with you, you'll often have better results. Moontreeltd Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 I think results depend on how you use groups & pages on Facebook. Like many here have said, if you join an existing group meant for Internet Marketing, sharing, business promotion, etc., your posts will just get buried in spam, and your audience in those groups is other people like you....people looking to sell, not to buy. One alternative option would be to create your own group page. That way, you are the administrator and make the rules. I think you can even sticky posts, add a link in the about section, and other things to make your content the most important in the group. This isn't a quick fix, though, because it will take time to get group members through FB ads for likes and other sources, but they will be more targeted. If you make the group about more than just you links (add value, like you would on a blog...maybe even tie it to your blog, if you have one and they are the same purpose/niche). Another option may be to narrow your niche more, in terms of the groups you look for. Think about what you are selling and where people interested in that may congregate. This is a bad example, but hopefully gets the point across: maybe the "make money online" group is spammy and useless, but if you are selling an email marketing system, maybe the "email marketing products and reviews" group gets more quality traffic and view time. affilliate3percent 1 Quote Internet Marketing from a Newbie's point of view. robertdorsey Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 I keep my facebook group private now for a place for my team to interact with each other but spamming links is not allowed. buildtraffic200 Posted December 24, 2017 Report Posted December 24, 2017 I have used Facebook Groups recently. Do they work? Yes and No. Have I had sign ups to programs? Yes. But the quality of sign ups is poor. These tend to be people who DO want to make money online fast with minimal effort without spending any money. So they join and do absolutely nothing and then tell everyone else the program is a scam. I think this has been mentioned already but using the groups as a means of building a list might be a more fruitful exercise in the long run. affilliate3percent 1 Quote Feel free to connect with me here: WealthyAffiliate.com Need more leads on social media? Groups are designed for networking and information sharing with like minded people. You make connections in groups and take the discussion private. I can share post of interest and generate traffic that sometimes leads to conversions but often leads more towards conversations as people come back and ask what this or that advertisement is about. They ask if I have tried the products, "what kind of customer service or support they get". In the case of my home business blogs they ask a wide range of questions like, "how long the company has been in business", "how long I have been with them", "if the money is good", "why I have stayed for 6 years", or most recently "what is SFI Advantage about?". When asked where they found my blog it was usually either a group or one of my Facebook Fan Pages. Quote Andy Zeus Anderson I'm Writing 10 Bitcoin Blank Checks this month, will you claim one of them? I used to get a lot of referrals from Facebook groups ....not so much anymore ,I think there are just to many groups for anyone to really have much success.
