Joel Posted July 17, 2015 Report Posted July 17, 2015 A few times each day I get this warning when opening a credit mail: Be careful with this message. It contains content that's typically used to steal personal information. Learn more[Report this suspicious message] [ignore, I trust this message] I've been deleting those without clicking any links, but do I really need to worry, or is it something Google is being overly careful about? Quote Taking another kick at the can, because I can.
Garrett Hutsko Posted July 17, 2015 Report Posted July 17, 2015 I have seen this off and on for some time now. I have filters set which changes the text with a similar warning. I tell Google to let me have them then I look at the title and the sender and for the most part discard them myself. My reasoning is that Google id's some of my good credit email's as junk and I want to make that decision. If you are careful with the emails you open you can ignore the message and do the delete later. Quote
Jasond188 Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 I get these too. Just dont click on them. Kenny Kolijn Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 It's often a false warning, have to look at the email and the sender and see what the site is about and use good judgement.Credit mails often get marked as spam and 'not safe' even if they are fine. oldbuddy Posted October 15, 2015 Report Posted October 15, 2015 THINK ABOUT YOUR EMAILS TOO! I have known about this problem for some time, but it concerned me more from the mailing side. If you have an autoresponder that sends emails from their server with your return address on another server, this message gets generated. My All In One Profits system solves that problem, because I can set up an email address at my account on aiop-hosting and use that as the return address for all my autoresponder campaigns. Quote
