Hello.  I just signed up here.  Here is my introduction...

 

 

 

I've been at this game since forever.  Mostly buying stuff and never taking action. 

 

Well, one time I did take action. 

 

This was during the time that iPads first came out and I wanted one real bad.  There was an affiliate contest where the 1st prize was an iPad.  I signed up for it, got my affiliate link and promoted it.  The bad news was that I did not win the iPad but the good news was I made a couple of sales and made $100 commission   

 

I haven't done anything successfully since. 

 

I have to do something now because I'm about to lose my job.  The writing is on the wall for me and I need to have something lined up.  If I can make $2k a month I would be in great shape. 

 

By the way, I'm not writing all this because I want people to feel sorry for me or anything.  Hell no.  I'm writing this because even though the SHTF for me soon I'm actually pretty excited.  Why?  Because I'm a completely different person from the one I was all those years ago buying products.  I didn't just buy stuff.  I actually LEARNED things like, how to create landing pages, write sales copy/headlines, integrate my Aweber to my squeeze pages, blah blah blah. 

 

Anyway, that's me in a nutshell.  Happy to be here!

Hi, my name's Tai.

 

I dabbled in the online marketing space many years ago... 2007 to be precise, and boy, it has changed significantly!

I wasn't consistent with it, as I went to university to get my graduate degree, and I also moved to another country.

 

So, I'm back here on the internet again, and I'm taking a totally different approach to it than I did initially, and I look forward to my journey on the path to building a credible, online business, together with a new attitude of consistency and belief.

I see that you have a different mindset than you had before and ready to go!

I like that point about the importance of "mindset" when one is contemplating what to do when getting into MLM or other internet businesses.

This concept will enable us to first " sit down and count the cost" before running ahead and wasting so much funds in so many shiny objects or programs. This is exactly what Jesus said about a military leader counting the cost before jumping into a war.

So, the suggestion is that we must study deeply into these BizOpps offers, check to verify if they're scams or programs that are viable and will deliver what is promised.

Good luck to you, Gabrielle; by now you should have figure out the rules of success in Internet Marketing.

I have been in some programs throughout the past 5 years or so, so I can offer my ideas and suggestions about what works.

The main important thing that I have learned online is that we need to be able to send massive traffic to our websites or affiliate programs 365(6) days a year to give our visitors the opportunity to join our program or buy products.

Traffic pages are no longer what they were years ago and you need to have a good functional plan in a good team.

 

I joined a great team for two months - in my opinion and it is based on crypto.

 

I am also a designer and I have a mailer in the making ...

Hey all. It's been a while since I logged on so I figured I would write another intro post.

 

I'm Rob. I've had several careers. Currently working in IT for a software giant. I do marketing in my spare time. Happily married, two kids. Colorado.

 

I have a few sites. I recently have been successful with starting a funnel using a free ads club I started with my son, Kai. He's 12 years old, and I am teaching him some basics of economics and math, but he already understands compound interest, supply and demand basics, etc. I hope to be active in here occassionally, asking questions as I go.
