Teaching By Example Only!

Hi Fellow MCP Members,

We have all heard (I think) that to be successful in life is to MODEL (success) someone who are already getting the results that we want.

I'm a firm believe in modeling success and was completely surprised and shock when people started modeling me.

Did I take it as a compliment when they started modeling me?

NO! I thought they were stealing from me until I can to the realization that they were modeling me to get the same or similar results that I was getting.

I starting getting emails from them thanking me for teaching and helping them. Really? I did not actually tell them anything but they model me and was taught from my examples.

We really can... Teach By Example Only!

I don't push, pull, or drag anyone to be a success.

I too am a firm believer in that statement. It happens to me all the time. When I have the right mindset, I come across people who are more knowledgeable and successful I can seek help from. I am constantly working on my mindset to see opportunities instead of problems.

 

Every problem is an opportunity in disguise.

 

I also "model" people who are successful in whatever discipline I am working on at the time.

 

So good for you at being a role model for others!

You may wonder what steps we should model in modeling someone.

 

The steps that I would take if I was modeling myself since I'm an open book for others to see:

 

1. What programs is he promoting

2. What methods of advertising is he using

3. What subject titles do he use

4. What is he advertising in his sig file

5. Do he promote Free, Paid, or both types of programs

6. How often to he seen to be promoting

7. Is he active in the forums or other advertising methods

8. How many methods of advertising do you estimate he uses

9. Do you every see him winning referrals contest after contest

10. And etc...

I highly recommend that you check out the Program Threads to see what others are promoting and to see how they have their ads setup.

yes we model success not failure, though to think again i have the greatest and numerous failures ever known to man, and i call it success.
