I'm an Advocate For Free Advertising Methods.

 

I didn't start as a advocate for free advertising but, I have been put in the position from all the nay sayers who say that FREE advertising are a waste of time and effort.

 

After years of proven success using them people are still saying that they are a waste of time and effort.

 

Here are samples of advertising they say are a waste of time:

 

- Traffic Exchanges (I had my first success with TEs)

- Safelists

- Viral Mailers

- FFAs

- Etc...

I have had great success with Free Advertising Methods from day one.

 

Why? 

 

Because they work. I have not found a Free Adverting method that I have use not work.

 

I know, talk is cheap and everyone can talk a good game.

What about paid advertising? What would you recommend like PPC.

 

Plus, are you buying TE credits or surf along?

I do use TEs and Mailers a lot, but I do a minimum of surfing in TEs (almost none), relying instead on referrals to earn credits. Almost don't use Safelists , with Mailers also refer for credits, sometimes look through emails but not much>

 

The way to use free advertising is to know what will work and what won't.  Advertising traffic and tools for traffic (free) works well. Advertising paid programs is almost always a waste of credits.

 

I've just started Solo ads (not those that go to the same safelists and mailers, the rate is better, but no real spenders) Ordered a total of about 250 clicks from Udimi - much better, but costs.   I've had some success with paid programs there.

When I first got started online I used PPC and went advertising broke... LOL

 

After that, I had to find an alternate method of advertising to generate traffic to my site.

 

Traffic Exchanges was the first method of free advertising that I used.

 

No, I don't buy advertising credits. When I use TE's I mainly surf for credits.

Stop your both right ! How can that be ? Well I guess it involves ATTITUDE, different strokes for different folks. If you have money and can afford it not only are you buying qualified customers, and clients but you are buying time. Think about it your not searching the web for Free Advertising your spending a commodity that is very hard to come across it's called Free Time. How free is it when your losing it searching, reading emails at safe list sites joining so call free Rotors etc. Did it help save you time ? I don't think so. Is it worth exchanging time for advertising ? YES and NO.  When  your just starting out, with little money a family to support and bills up your establishment it's a great way especially if you've been lured into a business which cost you monthly fees, membership dues, and all sort of optional upgrades. The sad thing is most people start this way achieve enough success to expand and in the course of doing so go broke when they start looking for ways to short cut their way to riches until they realize that they took a wrong turn somewhere along the road to success.  What road if any gets them back on track the free advertising road but if they tell you, then you might become there competition, so what could be better than say how bad free advertising is and what a waste of time.

Me I use both and must say it is very successful again there is a cost it's called  time.  When I first started out I could only afford free advertising building my downline solely on free advertising I was averaging forty (40) new members per month and it is still working today as it did then and more  so actually works better, why because if your an affiliate you have other members promoting the same products and service as you are. Some do it better than you some do it worse.

Example;  The two of you advertise the same item you have your name phone # and a picture of you, they have their nae tel # and a picture of the company logo unless that logo is of international fame Coke Pepsi, Walmart etc who is the buyer likely to give their money to you or the guy with no pic or some logo they just hade made by there friend in high school that dreams of becoming a professional artist.  I am no guru nor do I claim to be sipping martinis wth Donald Trump, but I can tell you I am living a lot better than some of your so called  gurus. oh and by the way do you think I am writing this article because I have some free time, no this article is to pay for my free advertising

I use a Traffic Exchange, but I don't use credits. My exchange is Traffic Swirl and I sell all my credits for Tokens, which I use to buy Token Ads or bribe other members to complete Tasks I want done (like joining my programs). When I run ads, I focus on stuff I know they need to solve problems and use simple 2-step opt-in pages for much better results.

I am a big fan of free banner ads. There are TONS of sites where you can set 'em and forget 'em and it doesn't take up too much time.

 

If you use them to promote similar sites you will get a lot of people joining those sites for free, and some of them will naturally upgrade.

 

This won't make you wealthy in itself, but will bring you enough income to start reinvesting and scaling up your business.
