Hi MCP Members,

I found my niche completely by accident.

How?

When I first got started online I was promoting money making opportunities, some familiar?

One of the money making site was a Clickbank Mall which have a wide selection of products.

There was a section for selling advertising products and services. It came as a complete surprise and shock to me that people was buying advertising.

Now, that brought up a question that I had never thought of... What Do Most Marketers Need and Want?... ADVERTISING!

The rest is history... Now, I mostly promote FREE advertising that offer it's members the option to upgrade.

Anyway, How Did You Find Your Niche?

Hey Tommie.

I was on the Internet one day and I came across this really cool little king icon.

He had cross eyes and a little bit of a dumbfounded look on his face and I thought

to myself, this is going to be my niche. The King of Traffic.

I have managed to get the best advertising sites around and the latest ones on

the rise and claim the dot.com name....Advertise Free on the Internet.com

I made a Wordpress Blog and try and write posts daily to give online marketers

both new and old a place to come and spend the whole day posting free ads.

My niche is now spreading out and I claimed another .com name...ZoomersNews.com

which caters to the grumpy old men and women which we are becoming.

This niche is going to be about health and anti toxins to ward off sickness and

keep yourself young.

I started my blog to help people find ways to make money online and also find sources to advertise. I found this niche because I had asked myself questions regarding how to do these things. I have another blog which is about natural health. I haven't wrote in it in a while because I have been so focused on my blog about internet marketing and with placing my ads using free resources. Those are two of my favorite niches. Internet marketing and natural health.

I found my Niche by Marketing Research.

Several Blog contents were sent out with different  'niche' topics and the number of people who clicked on that blog was tracked.  We found the top five niches on the internet and it is very current.

The niche I use is as follows:  HEALTH AND FITNESS.

Therefore my niche was found by research testing done at my company.

I hope this helped.

Niche????

I started out helping a programmer with a custom software app back in 1987-88.
I didn't know anything about computers back then but I could write so I wrote the end user manual.
That forced me to learn about computers and software. Back then I spent 5K for two screaming 6MHZ 80286 PCs.

One even had a big red button to get get to a whopping 10MHZ.

Since then, it was off to PC hardware school where I could graduate and make $7.00 an hour or roughly $3 less per hour than what I was already making.

Then there was programming...some Basic, some Excel, some batch files, some database and some headaches, yadda, yadda.

And finally in 1993 I decided to register as data processing consultant in my local area so I could get paid helping people with their computer related problems.

Then there was desktop support, field level tech support......as full time jobs while my little business rested.

Today i  support local businesses and homes desktops, software use, their websites and implement marketing solutions for them so they can focus on their business.

In summary I basically dug myself into a big hole and every so often I scream for people to throw dirt on me, so I can climb out.
Success is based on failure, I am a living example of that and I can't imagine doing it any other way.

See my bio for the official listings of where I have been and had to do and that is about it for my niche.

Computers, Music and Writing were once just all hobbies for me and then people offered me money to help them with those same things. These days, my now mad passions do require Rest, so I added that to the list of things I like to do!

Just by some competitive intelligence

Ebay, with the best-seller search function, taking a look for niche-related words.

and/or

Amazon (and a little known app called The Book Detective), checking for niche-related words in the top 10 best selling books.

My wife and I are big fans of all natural foods, without artificial flavours or sweeteners. We are both tea drinkers. So Steeped Tea was a natural niche for us. I always feel better promoting a company that offers a tangible product, especially when it is a higher quality product than usual in the market. Promoting Steeped Tea doesn't feel like work, because we just get together with people and drink tea. The product has been selling itself. We have definitely found our niche.

Come have a cup of tea with us. Premium, all natural loose teas. Turn your love of tea into a profitable business.
