This is a great thought, but it does not work. I have been in development work in Southeast Asia for 30 years and what I have found that if you teach a man to fish he will die of starvation an educated man.

 

Here is some data to support what I am saying from annual municipality reports in NYC.

 

Between 2010 and 2016, the growth in attainment of bachelor’s and graduate degrees among Black women outpaced that of women across racial and ethnic groups; the proportion of Black women 25-years-old or older with a bachelor’s degree or higher grew 14.5 percent during that time, compared to 9.0 percent for white men.

 

In 2016, Black women working full-time in New York City made 57 cents for every dollar paid to white, men—roughly $32,000 less on average.

 

An example is a man with a PhD is black and working in Mississippi in the 1950's.

 

So I think this saying needs an amendment, "Teach a man to fish and he will starve without access to the water where the big fish swim" And what is so wonderful about the online world is it give everyone access to any market in the world. I can teach people to do this business and I can give them access to a huge pond. It truly is True that sUccess depends on that 2nd letter.
